"Location and Luxury!"

The location of the Gwen is fantastic! I love that the hotel is attached to shops since the weather was freezing during my visit. The lobby and room decor is high level. The service with Adabel at check-in was great. My room was clean and spacious. My travel advisor worked directly with Francisco who confirmed the amenities that were included with my stay. I was pleasantly surprised with an upgraded suite on the 12th floor. Unfortunately, I was in town for a funeral but my hotel experience made my stay extremely comfortable. I’ll absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Chicago.

"The Most Special 40th Birthday Tea Experience"

We had the absolute loveliest afternoon tea at The Gwen, and it truly made a 40th birthday celebration feel so special. Judie was incredibly helpful from start to finish. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect — attentive, warm, and so accommodating. She made us feel celebrated and cared for the entire time, which made the day even more meaningful. The tea service was beautiful and delicious, the atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, and thanks to Judie, the whole experience felt personal and memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate such a milestone birthday. Highly recommend for any special occasion! ✨

"Rooftop Curling Extravaganza"

What a great experience! The staff were so kind - Judie welcomed us in and got us all set up and Kelly took care of us all night - and even got the fire restarted when it went out because it was so windy. Curling on the roof was so fun and a great, unique experience. The city is so pretty at night - highly recommend!

Judie is such a joy; a true gem. Very kind and warm personality who made us feel welcomed and cared for. We arrived and the kitchen had already closed, she was kind enough to get us some some nuts! We came back the next day for a quick bite and our waiter was Daviel. Daviel was very attentive and kind as well. The burrata was delish! Thank you again.

"Charcuterie for one"

My room was not quite ready so I grabbed a small appetizer while I waited. Judie greeted me and Davieh was my server. Both were lovely and made my time while waiting go quickly! The hanks Judie and Davieh!
