Only stayed over one night the room was excellent as was the sauna,steam and spa pool, the evening meal was ok same as most hotels you can always find zoning to suit. The breakfast was self service and food could have been a little fresher. No air con in roomand it was quite warm.

some areas better furnished and up to date, than others. our room needs updating. reasonable price for room however. bar good and food tasty. would not be our first choice of hotel was was a last minute emergency requirement.

Hairdryer in bathroom not working. When I reported this to reception later I was told there was another hair dryer in the drawer, but there was no notice in the room informing me of this. Sheltered smoking area outside was absolutely filthy and neglected ( dirty table and broken ash bins) It didn't look as if it had been cleaned for weeks.

it's a nice hotel I like that kind of old type of hotel but it definitely needs decorating we were on the ground floor our room had black scuff marks on the walls amungst other things the outside also definitely needs sorting out the grounds do not give a good first impression like an hotel like that should do. the staff were friendly and breakfast was good

The property is getting old and needs a refurbishment.

Very good hotel and would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

I did not know I had to pay to park there. Lady at check in was not friendly and did not communicate at all to us. It was clean and adequate.

A very good value hotel - lovely pool and spa, clean comfortable bed and very well equipped indeed.

Can't say we were overly impressed with this hotel, it's definitely not good value for money. The woman who checked us in wasn't particularly helpful, she seemed to have "better things to do", the room was large and the bed was comfortable (those are the only positives about the room). The bed had disgusting stains on the bottom of it, the bathroom reminded me of an 80's theme with a hair dryer that resembled the Ghostbusters back pack. The swimming pool is small and the sauna was out of order. Then to top it all off you're charged £3 for parking, ok it's only £3 but why is there a need to charge, it's not a city centre hotel, it rarely gets that busy (I used to live near this hotel). Overall not impressed with this place and definitely wont be coming back again. Would only stay here again if I had to.
