Booked 3 rooms BB for 1 night, paid over £300. Checkwd in 7pm approx. 1 room the heater not working, 1 x Exec room for 2 adults only had 1 bathrobe and slippers, ikthe least i would expect is 2 of everything. Water from shower head was like a running tap, I absolutely no spray of water at all, probably blocked up with limescale. Next morning as shower was rubbish sklooked forward to the Sauna only to be told its not working. So i went for breakfast, got a begal about to heat it on the rolling toaster, told to use another toaster use for begal but then that was not working, i went back to the rolling toaster to heat my begal , the staff insisted i cannot use it as it was only for bread and it was unfortunate the begal toaster was out of use. Rooms were unclean, dirt in some places, If your looking for a cheap, cheerful unclean, poor service, over rated and over priced hotel this is the one for you. My 4 guests and i will steer clear from the ace for good.

i paid in advance...my partner arrived before me to check in..she rings me saying she cant check in as the room hasn't been paid..i assure her it has but the receptionists say it hasn't so she has the embarrassment of not being able to check in and take her bag to the room...I arrive and try checking in...same outcome...they both cant resolve it between them...so I show them my confirmation booking with the confirmation number and that it's been paid....receptionist then asks me to email it to her??? I pre paid to make sure my partner could go straight to the room to get settled but couldn't even do that...whilst doing this they tell me its £3 per car which was news to me...i nearly at that point said cancel everything....i then had to take my and my partner's bags to the room 254.....i entered and went to the bathroom to find a very long hair on the toilet lid and the bathroom stank of wet sweaty socks...was awful....I go back down and show the receptor picture I took of the toilet lid and advised the bathroom stank....she got me another room...so had to go all the way back get the bags then go to the new room...all of this I dont want when I'm trying to have a relaxing evening....which it ruined it to be honest along with the fact as we were having drinks near reception loads of kids were running round wild...climbing things...picking things up...shouting ....and not once did any staff member do anything about it.....the round panel in the shower knob was loose and came of

Upon arriving we left our bags in the reception area as we were early, we returned at approx. 5 pm and wanted to have a drink and shower, we checked in on a computer screen and was informed of a £3 per day parking charge, which is not mentioned on the hotel.com website (invoice after checking out billed us £9 per day). The bar had run out of Jack daniels and the receptionist was to busy to give us our bags and room key, after waiting almost 30 mins we gained our key to be sent to a service lift to our room at the other end of the building. (it smelt bad and made strange noises, not used again). We arrive at our room to bad stains on the carpet and dust over the lamp and headboard, the bathroom mirror had not been cleaned and the shower ran cold water. (the room booked on the website looks nothing like what we were given). I complained about the cold water to two different people before someone came to the room to sort out hot water. We met with family for dinner that evening and upon our return I asked if there was water in the room as i could not remember, I was informed NO but told I could buy some (this website says free bottled water in each room) the bill was £3.98 for two bottles which I refused to pay. I asked the receptionist about water and was told I could drink the tap water, when I asked where I could get this I was informed from the bathroom sink (i was not happy). We are returning to the UK again in July but would never stay here again!!!!!!

We didn’t like the air freshener in the public areas it was overpowering

Decore depressing dark sombre booking in take forever even thought it is hightech modern longer than normal hotels. Conference corporate treatment stiff upperlip wont like to stay there again not getting away from a typical work atmosphere even on a private trip it just make you feel it,s too conference geared unlike other hotels who do conferences as well but dont present jyst a corporate treatment. Staff us friendly but stiff annatural friendly. Not hotel to book if you want to get away from the office on a orivate visit to friends and family certainly not a holiday destination.

Staff were friendly amd the hotel.was clean. But it is a bit dated and run down. The ceiling in our room had a big mouldy damp patch

We booked what we thought was a three bed family room. Turns out the other two beds were love-seats that pulled out to make beds. They were cheap and extremely uncomfortable. Overall the room was clean, however the shower in the bathroom would not produce more than a trickle of cold water so made taking showers pointless. The hotel itself was nice but don't plan on using the pool/hot-tub/sauna without purchasing a membership package - disappointing.

Awful experience here.. when I got my key to my room I walked over there (otherside of hotel) with all my bags to find the key didn’t work. Then I went back and forth THREE more times and it didn’t still work, I had to be let in with a master key. Then I didn’t have my own key, i received no apology. I was then changed rooms which is was even worse than my current room, so old fashioned and there was 2 single beds instead of two pushed together. Service was so poor, rooms so outdated and beds not comfortable. Will not be coming back.
