The Chester Grosvenor

Overall lovely hotel, ACon system is very noisy, but the receptionist went over and above to find me a better room.

The whole experience was excellent

Everything was perfect

Breakfast was good, Jo welcomed us and she made sure we were comfortable and well looked after.

The bed was not comfortable and neither of us had a good nights sleep. Room 336. We were surprised that the room didn’t have a USB socket, and we had to contact reception for a plug. The shower was over the bath, which in our opinion was not what we expected. In this day and age we expected a walk in shower.

Nice setting, parking in main car park proved difficult to navigate to hotel . Needed some form of instruction.

Very tired, executive room bathroom poor state of cleanliness. Sink took forever to drain, same as bath. Door lock plate loose causing my wife in difficulty in getting out. Grouting and sealant with lots of black mold. No shower cap or soap bar.

Very warm welcome, upgrade explored and executed

We loved our stay; the Grosvenor will be sadly missed. The staff were superb and the few tired bits just added to its charm like an old Ocean Liner on its last few trips.

Both lifts working would have been nice.

Room was smaller than expected. All a bit worn really.

Bathroom dated.
