Bailbrook House

Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and professional. When we had a small issue with our room it was dealt with immediately and resolved satisfactorily. Breakfast and dinner was lovely aswell

A beautiful hotel. Perfect for a relaxing stay and the breakfast is delicious with a good range of food. Easy bus trips into the town centre with the bus stop right outside. Would come again.

Great hotel have stayed here a couple of times now for ladies day. Rooms are lovely, clean & comfy. Fabulous breakfast staff are lovely too. Good proximity to races & town centre. Taxis very efficient. Would recommend

My husband and I visited Bath for the day and stayed overnight at Bailbrook House Hotel. One night in Bailbrook Court (not the main Georgian house but a separate accommodation block) cost slightly over £200. Our first impressions of our room was that it was dark, very brown decor and furnishings and a slight drain smell from the bathroom. However the room seemed clean - from what I could detect through the gloom. Bailbrook Court has a 70’s motel feel and this was compounded by us being situated on the ground floor in a room with a low ceiling. On a positive note, the bed in our room was large and quite comfortable and we did sleep well. The overhead shower was also good. The following morning we headed to the main house for breakfast only to be told that breakfast was served back in Bailbrook Court - in what seemed to be a large conference style room. We were seated - not offered any fresh coffee or toast or told we could order food to our table. At the continental buffet there were no clean plates for fruit etc and everything seemed to be running low. Eventually we managed to order some toast and a pot of coffee although there was no milk so we had to take milk from a large jug next to the cereal. My husband said the food from the hot buffet was comparable to food from a budget hotel. I looked at the scrambled egg but it was too runny for my taste so ended up having a slice of toast. In conclusion my opinion would be that our room and breakfast wasn’t good value for money unfortunately and for us the experience was disappointing. Also it’s worth noting that the majority of the photos are of the rooms in the original Georgian house. There are no photos of the separate block - Bailbrook Court - and there is a reason for this…..

2 night stay at a lovely hotel on the outskirts of Bath. Very attentive team who couldnt do enough. Dinner in the Cloisters restaurant was well prepared and presented.

So welcoming and helpful. Lovely property.

Very pleasant 2 night stay. My wife and myself thought the staff very welcoming and could not do enough for you, Room very clean and really enjoyed the breakfast, Would definitely stay again.
