Fantastic location, beautiful grounds with spectacular views. excellent spa facilities. Interesting building with lots of history particularly the hall and restaurants areas. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Despite prepaying I was charged again, no apologies just "oh it's a mistake" - the money was refundened though. Spa area is poor - sauna and steam room, jacuzzi out of service It is a beautiful location

Afternoon tea at Danesfield. The sandwiches were awful. Terrible thick white cut bread. Tasteless processed chicken. Smoked salmon that needs a dressing and egg and watercress were all underwhelming! Very disappointing. Better ingredients and creativity would be a big improvement.

We stayed for one night and was genuinely impressed. The hotel is absolutely stunning—beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. What really made the stay stand out was the staff, who were all friendly and attentive throughout. A special mention to Sharon at breakfast service—she was fantastic, so welcoming and thoughtful, and really made the morning feel special. Even in just one night, this place left a lasting impression. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location

The uninterested and unhelpful girl at the reception. The rest of the staff was very friendly, polite, smiling and helpful.

Excellent breakfast in the orangery; grounds splendid. Evening 'do' well accommodated. Accommodation was visually a treat - marvellous architecture. And so good to have the history of the house so accessible.
