Dreams Lanzarote Playa Dorada Resort & Spa

This was our first trip to Lanzarote and I’m glad I picked dreams at player Blanca, we had booked at the preferred club option and I’m glad we did. This meant we had a nice room with balcony overlooking the pools. We were on a bed and breakfast basis, but also had access to the preferred Lounge where we could grab snacks throughout the day this suited us perfectly. The breakfast was good and covered all bases with lots to choose from. I would say the quality maybe 4 out of 5 stars. The drinks and cocktails were made well and reasonably priced. And we enjoyed the entertainment when we got back from our walks and evening meals most days. New Year’s Eve was lively and we were also given free drinks and we enjoyed that too! We thought the pool areas were great and obviously having access to the preferred pool club meant it was quiet and plenty of sun beds to go round. We enjoyed day trips out to the Timofeya mountains and we did a lot of walking to the Peninsula. We hired a car for just one day and managed to do the whole island in that day when the weather was a little bit overcast Would I recommend dreams? Yes and would I return- yes I would. Thank you to hamma for checking us out swiftly and kindly. Every staff member we encountered were professional. My one bit of constructive feedback would be around the room cleanliness. They were spotless on arrival but each day after that the Cleaning was a little bit questionable however I appreciate the staff would’ve been busy over the festive periods but that didn’t detract from the overall quality and great stay that we had at this hotel.

Really lovely staff, location was excellent. We stayed on an all inclusive basis over new years and food was not good unfortunately. Also disappointed that of the 7 pools there could only use 3 of them on an all inclusive basis, the rest were for preferred guests. This also goes for many other offerings. Lunch for all inclusive was just buffet which we felt was like eating in school canteen and of poor quality. There is a choice of restaurants and we tried 3 of them but they were definitely not 5 star standard and food was disappointing. The staff were all really lovely. Entertainment was plentiful but a bit too “Butlins” for us. We would not return but would advise anyone going to maybe go on a bed and breakfast basis and eat out in one of the many restaurants nearby.

This is our second team at Dreams and we decided to spend Christmas here. It was the best Christmas we’ve had- all of the staff were amazing and couldn’t have done any more for us. We will definitely spend Christmas here again.

A decent hotel, but not 5 star or as nice as others on the strip. Cleanliness issues, but a very nice property, done well. Good value but your “fresh” sheets may not be clean.

OK staff good but food could be better, they spread so many restaurants who aren't that good. Have less restaurants serving better food.

Hotel was amzing staff friendly. Large pool very clean great location food was very good plenty of options. Very good with the children at Christmas

Avoid avoid avoid! The worst hotel experience ever! I never write reviews but felt the need after this holiday The food is beyond awful the pools are ice cold and the extra charges are outrageous! Bed and breakfast at best or don’t book at all

Basic for a 5* but nice. Lovely comfortable bedrooms. Buffet had a good variety of choice. Great pools and the water slides are a fun addition. Guest relations v helpful

The room was spacious and well equipped. The waiters were polite, and there was a good variety of food at the buffet. The hotel has a great location, close to the beach, the port, and shops. However, our room was not cleaned for two days. On the second day we asked at reception for housekeeping, but no one came. I understand it may have been busy, but at least the towels could have been replaced with clean ones. The room was cold, and the air conditioning only cooled.

Staff was very friendly and generous. The pools were great, especially the infinity pool facing the ocean. We came in on a night where there was an concert performance and the atmosphere was amazing. The shower wall was a bit dirty but that's okay. The location of the resort is perfect; it's right between the biggest beach and a chain of nice stores & restaurants. Preferred Club comes with inclusive food and water all-day. Overall the value of the hotel was 100% worth the price. Thank you!
