Service im Restaurant sehr langsam

We went to Emerald Beach at the end of our city tour from the cruise port. The beach was beautiful. We did not use the restaurant however we did walk through. I couldn't get over how beautiful the water was perfect for swimming. It's a very lively beach. There's a lot of water activities you can purchase here. You are also able to rent a chair and an umbrella from a guy walking up and down the beach, It was about $25 I think. He was very friendly. It was a little busy but not overly so for spring break I would return.

Awesome staff!!! Sammy and the girl that do the chairs are awesome! They got my son coconuts and were so friendly!

The location was right by the airport for easy exit day of. The bar on the beach was very nice. The room was a decent size with a large bathroom. Soaps and lotions were provided. The little cafe was helpful for a breakfast to go. The beach was beautiful, when it wasn't packed. The tacos were delicious at the restaurant. The view from our balcony was fantastic! The resort allows you to leave your luggage prior to check in and after check out and you can utilize the grounds, which is a very convenient touch!

The bathroom could use racks or hooks to hang towels and swimsuits... Be aware that on cruise days this beach gets packed, otherwise it's beautiful. That wasn't really a problem for us, it was our last two nights before flight out so we drove to other beaches in the morning for snorkeling. It cleared out in the evening. The smell of pot was overpowering, I guess that's the thing on the islands... when we mentioned it it cleared off and everything was fantastic.

The rooms were spacious. It is close to the airport. The beach was great. The food was good when you could get it. Same with the drinks.

With the exception of two women at the restaurant, I don't believe the staff cared whether we were there or not. It is probably the least friendly place we've stayed in all our years of travel. I understand island time, but they took it to a new level. We have two children and waiting close to two hours for food was not great. We ended up renting a car so we could go get food ourselves. Some money went missing during our stay and yes, we should have used the safe, but it left a sour taste for us. We should have paid a bit more and stayed somewhere else.

When I read some of the reviews and the high rating of this hotel, I must wonder if we stayed at the same place. The front desk staff during the day is the worst I have ever encountered. The overnight front desk staff(great) need to be switched to the daytime shift. We booked four rooms for a 4-night stay and as you can imagine it was not cheap. Here are some things to be aware of; the airport is extremely close to the hotel, which means most of the day you are going to hear planes taking off right over your head and I mean that literally. The restaurant food is good, but the service is extremely slow, they appear to be understaffed. If they just greeted you and said, I will be with you in a moment, but to act like you are not sitting there is unacceptable. They had one good waitress, wish we got her name. She should train the rest. This is basic customer service 101. If you are not a cat or rooster person, be aware there are many on the property. The roosters start every morning @ 2 am and go to 5am and don't think you will sleep thru it you won't. The Hotel appeared to be clean and the housekeeper on my floor was great. The picture on the hotel website is misleading; this hotel will remind you of the family hotels from the early 80s, think down the shore. To sum it up, I would not stay here if they offered me a free room.

Love the location next to the airport on a beauitiful beach. Rooms were also very nice with a million dollar view. Unfortunately the wait staff for breakfast (truck) or bar/grill were rude and felt like you were distrubing them. The breakfast sandwich had no condiments on it making it the dryest sandwich I have ever eatten. I asked for some sauce which they accomodated by mixing up some ketchup with hot sauce.

The emerald is placed beautifully in lindquist bay. The rooms, pool and beach are great. I was worried about placement so close to the airport, but don’t be. It’s not a nuisance. But the staff completely lost touch of why they are there. They were arrogant, rude and unfriendly. And it wasn’t us, several other guests we talked to during our stay felt the same way.

Service is slow on all levels, restaurant and front desk, maintenance, etc. Room wasn't ready until 5, that room had no water. Refrigerator didn't work. Took an hour to get another room. That room had no hair dryer, 2 trips to front desk and an hour later, still no hair dryer. Sat at restaurant for 15 min. No service. Moved to bar, finally someone spoke to us. Seems like not enough staff. Beach was nice. No compensation for any of it except. Oh well. Sorry
