In a quiet part of York so not disturbed by clubbers on a Saturday night. Room very clean and bed comfortable. Welcoming staff

Staff on reception and serving breakfast were very helpful and friendly.

Car park a mess.....not a good welcome. Felt rather apprehensive on arrival.... I realise there is on going building work but the area could be tidier

Room and reception very tired looking. Floorboards very creaky Shower cubicle small and water pressure very poor.

The swimming pool

The creaky floorboards, no Netflix when hotel room book stated there was a network connection on tv, tv wasn’t tuned to television channels, sauna was temperamental and the room was too hot, guests were loud. Not good value for money at all - too overpriced for what it was. Won’t stay here again and feel a partial refund would be appreciated.

Location was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Hotel was tired and poor state of repair. It had been raining heavily as we arrived and water was coming through the roof into buckets in the corridor, on the way to the room. The bathroom was very tired. The door wouldn't close without having to slam it, as it catched on the frame. Tap was loose and the toilet was not fixed securely. The bedroom was very warm, the window was open and a fan was provided, but still too warm.

Uncomfortable bed tiny bathroom and shower, noise from next door.

The hotel was within walking distance to the city centre. Good facilities including a swimming pool. On arrival the receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and was adequately furnished. The bathroom was a little tired but it was clean enough. For the price point I couldn't really fault the hotel. I'd return to the hotel on my next visit to York and hope that I could book a room in the new extension.
