At the airport after a wonderful stay at the Louis Phaethon Beach. What a wonderful week we’ve had. The hotel does not show its best face from the roadside and some of the corridor and room decor is starting to look a little tired. That said, the hotel and its staff soon won us over. The communal areas and grounds are absolutely spotless, and the food for an AI resort at this price point was exceptional. Loads of choice, beautifully presented and really tasty. My wife says to make particular reference to the wonderful desserts! What makes this hotel really stand out for us though is the incredible staff. From the amazing Ahmed who will greet you by your name at every meal and make sure you’re comfortable (and even give us a personal wave off at the end of our stay), the cheerful Faris and Mohammed at the pool bar, all the staff really understand the value of exceptional service and hospitality. I mustn’t forget the lovely young entertainments team as well, who did a fantastic job all week. This is a great value hotel just 20 mins from the airport and a short, easy bus ride from Kato Paphos. If we return to the west of the island we won’t hesitate to stay here again.

We recently stayed at Louis Phaethon Beach again in Paphos to celebrate our anniversary, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and wonderfully family-friendly. It struck the perfect balance — relaxed enough for couples, yet full of life for families. The food was absolutely fantastic throughout our stay. There was so much variety, everything was fresh and beautifully prepared, and every meal felt like a treat. What really made this hotel stand out, though, was the staff. Every single member of the team was incredible — friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their positive energy made such a difference to our experience. Celebrating our anniversary here felt really special, and we left with lovely memories (and already talking about coming back!). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Louis Phaethon Beach to anyone looking for a fun, welcoming, and high-quality stay in Paphos.

We have just returned from our holiday, and I can honestly say it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Outstanding Service The staff here operate at an incredibly high level. Everyone was so welcoming, helpful, and always wearing a smile. We felt truly looked after. A special shout-out must go to Ahmed, who greeted us at every meal. His warmth and hospitality really made our dining experiences special—he is a credit to the team! As a guest from Poland, I was also pleasantly surprised and touched that the staff knew basic Polish phrases. It was a very kind gesture that made us feel right at home. Regarding the accommodation, the rooms were very clean and well-maintained throughout our stay. We also appreciated that bottled water was always provided, which was a very thoughtful and practical touch. Dining & Drinks The food was fantastic and very diverse. There was a huge variety of dishes, ensuring that everyone found something they liked, whether they were adults or children. • Drinks: The cocktails were well-made, and the beer was cold and refreshing. • Atmosphere: We loved the vibe around the bar, thanks to the great music and the various attractions organized by the hotel. Facilities & Location The hotel is in a perfect location—peaceful yet convenient, with a bus stop right outside, making it easy to explore the area. If you’re looking to relax, the sun loungers are very comfortable, which makes a big difference for a long afternoon by the pool. Adventure During our stay, we went on an organized off-road jeep safari, and it was absolutely superb! It’s a must-do if you want a bit of excitement during your trip. Final Verdict I can recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stress-free and high-quality getaway. I will definitely be telling my parents and all my friends about this place. We can’t wait to come back!

Food very good as it always has been since our first visit in 2008. Service is excellent . Can’t fault it but have to say the daily entertainment is still the same activity s. Needs updating , even the music by the pool is same everyday and some of the vibes was playing 20 years ago. Hannah is a fantastic singer and dancer who we feel is the driving force in this entertainment team. The dancers are good but it would be not as entertaining without this superb singer. Drinks are good quality. We think the entertainment manager should try to use more imagination when thinking about what guests want in this current climate. This would make it even better than it already is. Maybe we are nip picking but it’s such a great all round hotel we just feel the entertainment could be more varied to appeal to different age groups. Bit bland so please update to current market expectations

The Louis Phaethon Beach hotel has been and will be a special place in our hearts. Our first holiday abroad 1999, where we got married in 2006, birthdays and just back from our latest visit for 20th wedding anniversary. To us, this hotel is the best in the world, in the beautiful country of Cyprus and the most amazing city of Paphos. The Louis Phaethon Beach is everything we want set in the most beautiful location . From the moment we stepped off the transfer we were welcomed with the most incredible warmest of welcomes from all the staff, especially from Ahmed. He was waiting at the door to greet us, he is there for anything we needed. He never forgot our names or who we were, especially with the amount of guests that are staying. He welcomes us (by name) every meal time and always made sure that our stay was as special as it could be. The hotel is luxury, from the moment you walk in the lobby. The bar where they serve the most amazing drinks and cocktails by friendly waiters (Samuel & Hany). The restaurant is beautifully set and easy to access with themed evening of food from around the world, including local dishes on Cyprus night to Italian night and Middle Eastern foods, all were amazing and tasted fantastic. The rooms are nicely laid out and what are needed for a good night sleep. The grounds are superb with two large pools, loads of sun beds, a children’s splash pool and fun slides.

Just returned from a fantastic 7 night stay. Staff can’t do enough. Location - beach front, with a lovely walk straight down to the harbour. Takes around 50mins with exceptional views for the entire duration. If you don’t fancy walking there’s a bus stop directly outside the hotel which takes around 10 mins to the harbour. Rooms - on the small side but you only sleep in there so it wasn’t an issue. Beds are comfortable and rooms are cleaned daily. Tea/coffee making facilities. Bottled water supplied daily. Great sea view from the balcony. Restaurant - food is tasty and always piping hot. Different theme every evening. Staff are always on hand. Ahmed is such a great leader. Genuine bloke who really cares about how customers are treated. There’s nothing he can’t do - helped us and others putting luggage on to the transfer coach back to the airport. He’s there right to the end! Entertainment - the team work hard keeping everyone entertained daily with quizzes and activities around by the pool then switch in the evenings to put on professional dancing/singing shows. Female vocalist has a lovely voice and they’re all highly trained dancers. Would have liked to see better quality acts upstairs. Pools - outdoor pools were cold but it’s April. Indoor heated pool is an option but we only used it twice, got busy as you can imagine and isn’t the biggest. Splash park and snack area were closed which is slightly disappointing but I knew this before coming. The space is what made it for me - not bumping into one another, you can walk freely around. Was always sun beds available no matter what time of day it was. No cues at the bar. There is a self serve drinks area too which is a good touch for when it does get busy. Already had an holiday booked for August but have decided to cancel and return here instead, it really is that good. Can’t wait to use all the facilities.

Good quality and variety of food at lunch and dinner, good service, nice choice in the bar and great stuff.

We found the beds not that comfortable, especially children beds and the pillows. Facilities a bit shabby, need some renovation (pool area, gym, courts, rooms).
