St Giles Heathrow Hotel

Old building. Needs improvement or refurbishment;

I liked the new bedroom, it was so much nicer than the room we stayed in last time. We nearly didn’t book again because of the room last time but we needed something last minute and cheap but we weren’t really looking forward to it until we got there and the lady on reception said we have a new room!

Check in was quick. Everything was lovely & clean. Needed bath towels & an extra pillow which was brought along within minutes. Received a free parking pass but when we went to leave it would not accept it in machine. The chap who came out said it was not valid but let us out after a moan.

Nothing to moan about, an excellent experience, clean, tidy, warm and friendly. What more could you want.

I have stayed at the St Giles many times on business. The staff are always friendly and the rooms clean. I was pleased to see on this visit that some things have been spruced up. For example larger towels, new shower heads and new pictures on the wall. I particularly liked the silver plane picture. The restaurant is good value and the chief cooks an excellent steak. My only negative is sometimes the other guests can be a bit noisy especially slamming doors, but that is not the hotels fault. I am always happy to go back.

Check in was hard work - it took 20mins to try and find a room for me - staff were polite yet they seemed to be bombarded with room complaints. My room was great when i finally got to it - clean,warm and v comfortable. Breakfast was perfectly acceptable too. Overall a good stay

Our maid never regilled our teas and coffee. Had to go to reception every day to get some. A small refrigerator is much needed in the room or at least 1ice machine on the floor.

Really comfortable stay, no.4, nothing is too much trouble, and the beds, well the best night sleeps I’ve ever had anywhere. Love this place

Room was ok, double bed, small TV ( really needs updating to a bigger TV). Room was a bit too hot, unable to open the window to circulate air which is a huge downside of the stay.

Great location ,vey friendly . I had a room in tbe newly decorated part of the hotel.
