"Go for the incredible golf experence!"

The 3 golf courses are outstanding! Golf staff very friendly and I will come back next year! The food choices were limited and not the best. The Glades Grille was not open when we wanted to dine there.

"Love the Glade!"

The Resort at Glade Springs is a go to place for us for a golf trip. Three unbelievable beautiful courses! Just returned and the fall leaves on the courses were breathtaking. Bunker bar restaurant is fun and very good but would like another choice of a restaurant. Buffet breakfast is wonderful. I cannot say enough about the entire staff at Glade. Love this place!!

If you’re looking for a “resort” experience at Glade Springs, let me stop you right here. Resort is a very generous word—it’s more like stepping into a time capsule nobody has dusted off since the Carter administration. The rug in our rental was so old I’m pretty sure it predates me—and my kids are old enough to drive. The food? Let’s just say when you walk by a tray of burgers and don’t smell any meat, you know you’re in trouble. Undercooked, flavorless, and honestly a little embarrassing for a place that puts “resort” on the sign. Cleanliness? Oh, you mean the dust layer on top of the valances that could be measured with a rain gauge? Or maybe the bed sheets with holes and blood stains (yes, you read that right). The bathroom light didn’t work, one sink was DOA, and the window unit gave up the ghost somewhere around 1993. When I mentioned the busted AC to maintenance, the response was, “Yup, we’ll take care of that in a few weeks.” A few weeks. Perfect—because who doesn’t love a sweat lodge on vacation? All in all, Glade Springs is the kind of place you tell your friends to avoid so you don’t look like a monster for recommending it. Stay away, stay away. Unless, of course, you’re filming a retro horror movie—then this place is spot on.
