Regalia Hotel & Conference Center

I wish that I had read these reviews before booking. The place looks old & dated - peeling paint, `. The place is VERY spread out. The room that I paid for was nice - after we were finally able to get into the room . King bed, balcony, spacious bathroom. We got in late, so powered down, sat on the balcony & enjoyed the night. Bed & bedding was nice. That was the only bright spot in this hotel. We dealt with not being able to get into the original room for almost 30 min, due to door being stuck closed because of a screw. Toilet above our bathroom was leaking & water was pouring out of light fixture about the toilet. Front desk girl was visibly irritated with us. Our new room (supposedly the only one left) is in the basement, has 2beds, smaller beds, bathroom (door wouldn't shut), two lights didn't work, sliding door but no chairs. We didn't use the pool area, so I can't say good or bad). Did I mention the pot smell? It's literally everywhere you go in this hotel. It was in the enty way, in the hallway, in the room with the ice machine & SO present in the elevators. I'm fine with pot, but damn - this was ridiculous. There is no way that management couldn't smell it

Full disclosure. They host a huge pool party sometimes. I'm too old to twerk or enter a wet tshirt contest, but they did seem to be having fun. We could not hear a sound of it from our beautiful, huge room. This room was so big. Super pretty. Very clean. The halls and elevator showed signs of a giant pool patrty, as did the parking lot but somehow they had the lot clean by 11 am. This place is staffed with hard working people. We definitely will stay agian.

No security system on outside doors, key return box not secure, dispensers for hand sanitizers at elevator empty, room not conducive to guests—AC not on when arrived,all appliances unplugged, phone out of order, no chair or reading lights in room, we had to go to lobby to read, No toiletries for 2nd guest, no channel ID on TV. Employees at bar in pool outwardly smoking weed and cigs although No Smoking sign posted. No restaurant on premises yet advertised. No continental breakfast yet told there was at check-in. Overall facility DIRTY! Indoor pool not functional. Vending machines not working. I have stayed at this resort before but has gone greatly downhill and I suggest you check it out before connecting your name with it in the future.

There are some good reviews on this place, They are Fake News. My wife and I were disappointed in every aspect of our experience. Service, cleanliness, ground upkeep and security were all non existent. It's a free for all and anyone can come and go even if they are not a paying Guest.

The toilet seat wouldn’t stay up, didn’t get our room serviced, the tv was to complicated, the drinks absolutely sucked, and the interior pool was closed… it was RAINING

The only thing I wasn't happy with was our balcony doors did not open.

Failing property, very dirty and unkempt.

Run down property and extremely dirty. Switched hotels the first day. The restaurant and bar were not open and nothing seemed to be maintained. The hallways smell of cigarette smoke and there was mold throughout the lobby and Hallways. Pool was in similar condition.

Outside was ok.
