"Good"

I like the hotel and how it was located. Overall I like this hotel. It allow me to enjoy the nice italian country side. The only bad part about this hotel is when I book for a triple, it gave me a single and i have to pay extra for it.

"Exceptional"

10.0

the place was extremely nice and well kept. the rooms were very comfortable and exclusive. we asked for an infant bed and got a really nice one. we arrived very late and still got a good service. the breakfast was very rich and satisfying. we only missed a child seat that could really have helped. the surrounding of the hotel is really nice. a nice pool and hummock. we truly recommend this place!

"Fantastic for couples and adult travellers"

10.0

As well as being near to Siena, the Chianti region and San Ginamino, this was the most beautiful location I have ever stayed in, and my partner and I were so busy taking in the views that I can't see why one would possibly give this hotel less than four or five stars. Our room was good - clean, well appointed and with a little balcony - breakfast was excellent (despite reviews I'd read otherwise, I cannot for the life of me see what was lacking, unless you want a full cooked English) and the service was more than fine. We were initially offered an annex next to the breakfast room, which I would warn other guests about as it was very ordinary in comparison with the rest of those in the hotel, and it wouldn't suit those with children, but other than that I haven't a single negative thing to say. You have to eat your evening meals elsewhere, but there's a superb restaurant down the bottom of the 'garden' (ie hill) in the village. And all this for less than we'd pay for a grotty B&B in Brighton. Highly recommended.

"Great location and potential."

8.0

This is a very nicely located old property which gives the impression of a place which has been converted o a hotel at minimal expense. Don't get me wrong, It has all the modern conveniences. The bathroom fittings are generally decent, but the bedroom furniture is cheap. It also gives the impression that nobody is tracking service quality carefully. The breakfast menu is good but invariably there are empty dishes and frequently you have to point these out to their staff and then wait for a refill. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed every day. However, this decent property could be great with some attention to detail and improved furniture and services.

"A little bit of heaven"

10.0

We stayed here for two nights and found it a blissful escape from the noise and crowds of Florence and Siena. I would highly recommend it for others looking to do the same. It is set in its own gardens, surrouned by the beautiful and peaceful Tuscan countryside, seemingly miles from anywhere, but it is also a convenient base for touring. Very friendly staff, lovely room and bathroom, great breakfasts with fresh (not tinned) fruit, eaten on the terrace. We did not have time to use the pool but it looked very welcoming. We would have liked to have our evening meal there as well but there are no dining facilities but several guests bought in their own food to eat as it was warm enough to picnic in the garden and linger over a glass of the local wine.

"perfect country-side getaway"

10.0

The rooms are wonderful. Get directions online and the follow the signs. Closer to the hotel there are little signs to the hotel. Quiet country side but yet still close to major centers that it makes travel easy. Wi-Fi doesn't always work, but who needs it when you're surrounded by Tuscan beauty?

"Peaceful country house in most beautiful landscape"

8.0

Great location in Tuscany but you need a car. Lovely restaurants nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our standard room on the ground floor was a bit chilly despite some heating on and when the upstairs toilet was flushed it sounded like a waterfall in our room. Luckily we were offered a much better room upstairs once the Easter tourists had left. A very good stay on the whole, would love to come back in the Summer to enjoy the beautiful garden and swimming pool.
