Quality Inn Spring Mills - Martinsburg North

This is the worst, most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at. My daughter has Celica disease so we have to bring her food with us. The first room we went to, the refrigerator was broken and moldy. The second room we went to had food stuck in the freezer, the refrigerator wasn't cleaned out, the tables and dressers were sticky with visible food stuck to them, there were ants on the table with food crumbs, stains all over the sheets and mattress, mold on the air conditioner. Absolutely disgusting and I couldn't keep my 2 children there any longer. Now I'm being told that since I booked through a third party company that I wasn't allowed a refund through them. This is absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Very clean and friendly staff.

The hotel is under renovation, so things are not quite in a finished condition, but the room was comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Room was updated, clean and large with double queens, bathroom was spacious, breakfast was good with hot servings. Facility is under renovation, so interior appearance was unfinished, nothing that affected the stay.

Where to start! They first put us in a room that smelled of cigarette smoke & pee, it was obvious someone had been staying in the room still! Check-in at the desk was dismal, no one there for at least 5 minutes and when someone did show up they were on their personal cell phone. There were no waste baskets in the room, manager said they were upgrading the hotel and all the baskets were thrown out!! When I tried to call the front desk the phone had no cord! The manager brought a cord in, but now the phone was flashing a large red light, that was distracting through the night. Breakfast was another joke! They ran out of coffee before 9AM, 1 container of milk which we borrowed from the cereal section! It was also only 2%, no other milk to be found. There were only two small container of butter for waffles and/ or your toast, 1 bagel, no danish. I can go on but you get the point. I’d like to know what happened to the “quality” in quality inn? It’s far from the commercials you see on TV!

There was no coffee, pot or towels in our room. They ran out of breakfast food on the weekend. We were there the yogurt that I took out of the refrigerator had something sticky all over it.

This Quality In is undergoing renovations. The room was clean & renovated, but our door was misaligned. There wasn’t a toilet paper holder. The deadbolt didn’t close all the way. The TV wasn’t set up, but my husband fixed that.

The breakfast was more than adequate, with a good variety of choices. The hotel location was excellent, with easy access to Interstate and local roads. Many nearby shopping and dining opportunities. The staff was top shelf as was the room, even though there was renovation taking place.
