Richmond Pamukkale Thermal

The only selling point for this hotel is its Thermal pool. The buffet dinner winds up by 9.30 pm and they do not care if you are still eating, they will ask you to stock up so that they can start winding up. The food quality and taste was very average and options limited. The room was rather congested and no space for sitting and unwinding. The room temperature was centrally controlled and was uncomfortably hot. I certainly do not think this property is 5 star. Stay only if within budget and that too for the hot thermal pool which is fabulous.

Over all the hotel was ok but it was not five star. There was only one person for room service and he took 2 hours to provide the blanket. No complimentary tea or coffee in the rooms.

Our stay was great. We really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The spa services and the indoor thermal pool was a amazing experience for the family.

We had stayed 3 rooms after we settled down that we found that in every room there was something missing, bathrobes, soap, towels and so on. The reason we understood later, the hotel is an intermediate stop of thousands of Chinese, Taiwanese and so on tourists who come for one night and the staff apparently is not enough to fix all the rooms. However, the hotel restaurant is a nightmare; at dinner all the tables are collected and numbered, where the staff asks for a number that is clearly told the groups, you can not sit where you want, the food is literally destroyed in seconds, we wait for breakfast half an hour to bring bread and bagels.A cat walks in the restaurant to get to the tables when you leave your food for a while. Extremely noisy by the constant crowds of tourists, the personnel invaded the rooms without even knocking, if you did not drop the latch, you might end up in a confusing situation.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in Nov. This is a budget hotel. No tooth brush, no air condition (only hot air is availble). If you need fresh air, you need to open the windows. Half board is availble. Dinner time is from 7 - 9 pm. As it’s the hotel favourite for tour, it’s difficult to find a seat when u come late at 8. You have to ask the waiter to help to tidy up the table as they are all busy. Only water is provided in dinner buffet and you have to order if you want other drinks. Overall, the price is reasonable and the room is clean.

Although this hotel offered a nice location, however, it had a very bad staff. They were very prejudice, whereby they gave favoritism over Turkish guests. They gave them priorities over foreign guests. The breakfast, and the dinner were terrible. it was chaotic.

This hotel is close to a small village ! If you are planning on visiting Pamukkale I think you would enjoy your stay there but don't expect too much! There were stains on the towels and linens and mold in the shower ! The don't accomadate your room with conditioner or body wash so take your own! One of the most unusal things about this hotel is that eventhough it has four pools (including the therma pools) they don't offer any slippers which was a first for me. The therma pool is a great place to chill in the evenings when the weather gets colder but I wish the would clean it more often all the walls were full of algea which gave it weird feeling!

Hotel seems like it used to be part of a nice chain, but has clearly become dated. Hallway carpets in bad need of replacement. Staircases full of extra beds. Very poor noise insulation between rooms. Poor cleanliness in the spa area and change rooms (muddy floors). Nowhere obvious to get or buy water in a thermal resort! Our check-in was quite slow, and there was an issue with the room being charged a second time at check-out. No elevators to the rooms. Meal buffet was not bad, but nothing special. Very crowded eating area. On the plus side, the room was as expected, the bed and bathroom were nice. However, our non-smoking room was still quite stale smelling, and there were cigarette burns on the couch.
