Steigenberger Nile Palace

I had an absolutely amazing experience here and would highly recommend this place to anyone. The service was outstanding, especially the bartender, Ahmed, who was incredibly attentive, professional, and clearly knows what he’s doing. He made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The cocktails were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, truly perfect. The staff overall was very friendly and accommodating. The location itself is lovely, with great seating options both indoors and outdoors. Everything was very clean, and the atmosphere was simply fantastic. I would definitely come back.

This is a beutiful hotel that should not be confused with the Seigenberger Cairo Pyramid hotel. The Pyramid hotel has seen better days and has not been kept to the same high standards as the Nile Palace. This hotel has a beautiful setting and professional staff. The breakfast buffet offers many choices and a wonderful fresh cooked egg station. The amenities offered by the hotel are top notch. I wish we had stayed more than one day at this hotel. If you visit Luxor make sure you spend more than a day in this city.

I stayed at Steigenberger Nile Palace for three nights as part of a tour of Egypt. The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Luxor, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. It offers a wide choice of restaurants, serving Lebanese, Italian, Thai, and international cuisine, providing plenty of variety for different tastes. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient, creating a positive first impression on arrival. The room was modern, clean, and well presented. It included a mini fridge and tea/coffee-making facilities, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning worked effectively, as did the Wi-Fi, ensuring a pleasant and convenient experience throughout. The bathroom was spacious and well maintained, featuring a lovely walk-in shower and all the amenities you would expect. I dined at all three restaurants during my three-night stay. The Italian restaurant stood out as particularly good, while the Lebanese and Thai options were average in comparison. Prices were slightly higher than at other hotels I stayed at in Egypt, although the overall experience was still enjoyable. The waiting staff across all three restaurants were consistently attentive and provided very good service. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, with highlights including the comfortable room, excellent service, and good dining options. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

We were here for a night and were upgraded to a full Nile view from the partial Nile view we had booked. The check-in staff were very helpful and friendly. The room we got was large but as it was on the ground floor it overlooked the pool more than the Nile. It was quite noisy as well, as there were people walking around in the pool area. The beds were comfortable and the room had all expected amenities. The toiletries were fine and the shower was good. It would have been good to have a shower curtain as the bathroom got quite wet after the shower. The breakfast was good and staff were friendly and helpful. One negative was that the bowl marked “nuts” was empty and though the chef said he was getting some, we were informed 20 minutes later that there was none!

On arrival at the Steigenberger, we received a warm and friendly welcome from all the staff. We were upgraded to a wonderful Nile view room complete with complimentary cakes, chocolates and fruit. Breakfast, taken outside on the terrace, was excellent and served by very well trained, smiling staff. We tried both the Thai Restaurant and the Lebanese El Tarboush Resturant - both were superb. In short, we spent two nights but wished it could have been longer. We have been lucky enough to stay at the Sonesta St George, the Pavillon Winter and the Steigenberger Nile Palace all in Luxor. Don't hesitate to book the Steigenberger, it's the best!

When you enter the hotel it looks quite lovely. But to access rooms, restaurants, etc you walk through a kind of courtyard into another building that blasts loud music all day and night. So having a drink at the bar or eating there isn’t that pleasant. By contrast, we went to The Winter Palace for cocktails and it was really quiet and beautiful. Although everyone is nice, no one followed through with requests for things like dinner reservations and the like. I felt like we spent a lot of time just trying to make simple arrangements. Shout out to the travel company there who got things done. The breakfast was ample and fresh, but we opted for room service, which was always delivered by the same wonderful man who put a smile on our faces. Food and coffee were delicious and loved enjoying them on our balcony overlooking the Nile. Overall, it was an okay stay. Happy for that view, so would definitely suggest upgrading for that. Would probably stay elsewhere if we returned to Luxor.

Very pleasant stay overall. The service was consistently good, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. I especially appreciated the fresh juice each morning, and the shisha was well prepared and enjoyable in the evenings. A great choice for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The massages at the Spa were outstanding. Wafaa and Arwa were our massage therapists and they were great. Feeling much better! BTW The hotel is beautiful...on the west bank of the Nile.
