Steigenberger Nile Palace

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Steigenberger Nile Palace! Our stay was extra fun and memorable thanks to Nubi, the greatest hotel attendant ever! We exchanged Arabic and Japanese phrases with each other and had a fun time learning about each others’ cultures. His positive energy always made coming back to the hotel a real joy. If you are lucky enough to meet Nubi during your stay, be sure to ask him to teach you Arabic. Thank you, habibi!

Very well centrally located, close to everything. Clean, modern rooms. Good pool and good restaurants. The vast majority of staff speak English. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience, Ahmed was amazing at the bar! We loved it here very good service. The hotel was lovely and the view was very nice.

Let’s make clear this is at best a 4 -star hotel according to global standards. On top Of it, this is an old and super used hotel, with a low level of technology and a huge number of rotating guests. Good for mass tourists, much less for business purposes. However: the personnel is kind and professional, the restaurants are ok ( too expensive for Egypt) and the rooms ( especially those with the view on the Nile) are nice, comfortable, average clean and the view makes you feel In peace with life. Bathroom are getting old and deserve some renovation, still everything works fine. The price, as always in Egypt for hotels, is far too high.

Great place to stay in Luxor. Every single staff member made us feel at home. We were looked after from beginning to end - As two women travelling alone we really appreciated the care that the concierge and doormen took to make sure our taxis were safe, for example. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. We had a courtyard view and I would recommend this for the peace and quiet. Sitting outside by the Nile in the early morning with a coffee, watching the balloons on the West Bank - bliss! Or the sun setting while feluccas sail by - what a view! Room was good, USB plug by the bed and two prong plug sockets. Pool was warm (February) and nice for mid-day rest after a morning of sightseeing Breakfast buffet has a good range and we tried the evening buffet once as well and it was worth the price. Nothing extraordinary but a good range of everything you would expect and very peaceful to eat outside with a view of the Nile. The staff are what moves this from very good to excellent - thank you to everyone for making our holiday so special

Very nice hotel, the only drawback being that the rooms with a view of the city are very noisy. We asked the door man Noby for some information and he was so kind and helpful. He was truly exceptional, we thank him again for his help.

Gorgeous hotel. The restaurants have lovely food. The staff bend over backwards to help you. Even walking with me to use an atm as there is no bank or atm in the hotel itself. The courtyard has live music each night.

I have been coming to Steigenberger Nile Palace regularly for about 17 months, almost every time I am in Luxor, mainly for meals. Sadly, over the past few months the food standards and consistency have clearly gone down, both at the Lebanese and the Italian restaurants. At this point, I honestly can’t remember the last time I had a meal here without something to complain about. This is disappointing, because this hotel used to be much more reliable. Now the experience feels inconsistent and careless, not just once, but repeatedly. Unfortunately, until the Four Seasons opens in Luxor, this remains one of the few decent dining options in the city — which makes the decline in quality even harder to accept. With such limited competition, the standards should be better, not worse. I hope management takes this seriously, because the potential is there, but the current food quality does not match what this hotel should stand for.
