This was the second time I had booked this hotel. The hotel offers several restaurants to cater for all tastes. We booked an exceedingly early trip to the Valley of the Kings, and the hotel kindly accommodated us with four exceptional breakfast boxes. When we checked in the hotel informed us that they had allocated our rooms next door to each other' we were extremely impressed with the service. We had one issue with a member of staff at the hotel reception; his name was Omar. He was very unhelpful, rude and dismissive. We were all extremely disappointed with his lack of help and unwillingness to assist with our enquiries. The rooms are modern and very spacious. The hotel is located not too fare from the Souks, however I would recommend booking a Nile view room; we were all kept awake every night because of the traffic and street noise. The Egyptian drivers constantly "beep" their car horns!!! The pool is by far the best, compared with all other hotels in the area. The pool bar service is extremely slow, and the staff struggled to understand English - it was quite tiring. Apart from the sloppy and unhelpful service from Omar the hotel is good and I would certainly recommend.

What an amazing stay we had! Our Superstar Ibrahim ensured that we had quality serivce, great rooms and unmatched atmosphere. The Lebanese resturant took the food award. And Nascor Tour provide a great Sunset Felucca experience for our group. All the staff were meticulous - but a special thanks to Ibrahim at the reception desk.

I had an amazing experience. The hotel facilities are in great shape. The staff are professional, courteous and serve with excellence and a smile. The food is incredible. I wish I stayed longer.

Very beautiful hotel with an airy grand courtyard and large pool area that overlooks the Nile (heated pools too). The rooms are well appointed and everything feels upscale. The Thai restaurant served up some of the best Thai dishes we've had anywhere. Very nice experience.

Stayed at the Steigenberger Nile Palace between 10th / 17th December. Booked directly with Steigenberger Nile Palace reservations team. The Steigenberger Nile Palace offers a quintessential stay in Luxor city centre. Very central. We had restful night's sleep in our spacious suite which featured sliding patio doors with a view of the courtyard. There you could see the entertainment. Our room had 2 kingsize beds and additional amenities. Tea & Coffee making facilities available in the room. Bathroom toiletries replaced daily when housekeeping cleaned. Booked The Steigenberger Nile Palace for our Egyptian Holiday with friends which was their first trip to Luxor.They will be back. This is our 4th time at this hotel, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and it is always welcoming and the rooms are a good size and clean. The location is central to all tourist attractions also ideal for nights out in The King’s Head across the road . Hotel Staff were all very exceptional very helpful nothing was too much trouble, all staff went beyond and above. When our friend fell ill the kitchen staff supplied him honey & lemon to drink to ease a cough. Friendly & helpful staff, especially: Abdullah - If I’ve remembered his name correctly ( see photographs) he was an exceptional waiter. We saw him everyday for breakfast and evening meal. Very smart appearance, with very good manners. His English was better than my Arabic 🙂. He took our orders accurately, delivering food promptly and refilled our Tea & Coffee many times, he knew / remembered my friend liked the chocolate cookies 🍪 and there they were on the table each morning. It was sad saying farewell to him. Ali at the poolside bar and restaurant was Friendly & Engaging Making us feel welcome with interesting conversation. Not forgetting the excellent poolside service, attentive staff who bring clean towels to your sun lounger’s and keeping the pool area spotless ,making us feel really pampered. We will be back soon .. This hotel is very convenient to see all the attractions in Luxor . Rooms are spacious and very neat and clean . The staffs are very friendly and all three Resturants we tried have very tasty food . Meram specially was very kind and polite and always ready to help . We will recommend this place to any one who wants to have a nice and relaxing holiday . We will definitely use again whenever we visit Luxor

Well located and top quality hotel, right on the river (something you don't get with the Winter Palace). The location and gym swung our vote to choosing this hotel. In-house restaurants all good quality and fair value. We stayed for one week as the base for trips around and about Luxor. Recommended...make sure to get a river-facing room, partial or full view.

First rate hotel. Generously sized room with balcony overlooking the river. Staff throughout the hotel were most helpful. A few small tips were met with delight! The riverside location is brilliant. TIP Don't breakfast indoors - instead go down to the tables at the river's edge. More of a walk to get food but well worth it! The Lebanese restaurant in the Steigenberger was excellent. Good authentic fresh food, served with a smile! Food better than two meals which we took outside at the Winter Palace. (TIP Winter Palace Red Royal Bar and gardens well worth a visit for a cocktail and a stroll) There is a lot of construction going on outside the hotel, but this didn't interfere with our enjoyment. We took taxis into the town centre - all very cheap. Highly recommended hotel
