The location of the hotel was amazing with a view of the River Nile. The room was clean. The atmosphere was quite good. We didn't pay for the hotel. The noise level was not that bad. The staff were quite friendly. The amenities we didn't use.

Sadly, we only have one more day of our week here at this truly wonderful hotel. Whilst it is a little further along the river than some for the Karnak & Luxor temples (1 hr walk or short taxi) this means it has been built on the River Nile side, so you can literally touch the water from one of the many bars and restaurants, and watch the sailboats at breakfast. It has a lot of space, food options but most of all the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home and valued. Tim PIERCY

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. The staff went above and beyond for my husbands birthday. .The views are beautiful and the food is delicious. The only bad thing is, the men who run the stores in the down stairs area of the hotel are aggressive and try real hard to rip you off. I assume they are not staffed by the hotel because they act completely different then all the actual friendly staff. Use caution with them! They will wait by the buffet area to try and get you to come into there stores and make you feel uncomfortable and don't take no easily.

Ahmed is amazing bartender at the bar on the second floor. He was especially good at making me a chocolate shake which is now my favorite.

Fabulous hotel, with friendly and efficient staff. Room was lovely, large and clean. Great pool with Nile view. Several restaurants to choose from, we ate in them all.... lots of choice. Ady, ground floor bar is a great character, makes you feel very welcome and at home. I highly recommend.

The Steigenberger Nile Palace is the ultimate oasis in Luxor. Aside from its delightfully cool and elegant interior and stylishly curated restaurants and shopping experiences it is the staff who truly breathe life and beauty into this wonderful establishment. After a day of visiting the bustling Valley of the Kings or the teeming Temple of Karnak you can truly unwind and remember the best of your day. Here you can feel calm and relaxed and know that you are well looked after by kind and helpful staff. They also do not hesitate to go above the call of duty. During our stay I unexpectedly needed to physically sign some contacts. No problem, said Abdallah, one of the reception team, and he printed off the entire contract for me at no cost, which I had offered to pay for. If you have visited Luxor before you will understand how rare and refreshing this is!

This is a great hotel. Our group upgraded to Nile view rooms and it was well worth it. The view is spectacular and one of those memories of the Nile that stays with one for years. The room itself was large, comfortable and clean. While we only stayed one night we could see ourselves coming back just for the location of the hotel (and its restaurants). The breakfast buffet is large and has the usual array of hot and cold items - with enough variety to keep even the seasoned traveler happy. The Italian and Lebanese restaurants were amazing. And the experienced and helpful staff were happy to allow us to sit in the Italian side and order off the Lebanese menu - something that allowed us to satisfy all the palettes in our group.
