Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel & Spa

Our valet dude was named Rafael and he was very quick and helpful. He literally ran to get our vehicle and was very polite to our kids. We also had a couple other dudes help us out at valet that were great, but I can’t remember their names even though he remembered mine. Lol.

For 20 years, we have stayed at a different hotel before and after Burning Man. This year, we stayed at the Renaissance Hotel before Burning Man. We had such a good time that we canceled our other hotel and rebooked our post-Burn stay at the Renaissance as well. I’ll let other reviews detail the rooms, the delicious restaurant, the well-ventilated, airy surroundings, the furnishings and the amenities. I want to focus on the service. I’ve never gotten such good service from a hotel. Daniel from the front desk greeted us every time we walked by, anticipated our needs, and met them with blinding speed. By the time the phone was back in the cradle from our requesting new pillows, there was a knock at our door delivering them. William helped us with early check-in when we arrived unexpectedly early, and he made sure that our requests for room details were noted and under way. Chelsea and Ian arranged for us to have a HEPA filter in our room, to help with health issues. He did it cheerfully and rapidly, each time. Coby, also with facilities, furnished us with replacement light bulbs when we needed them. The bulbs were replaced within 5 minutes of our request. Caleb helped us with transporting our luggage and car needs. Ben assisted us with printing handouts and securely getting our files from our laptop to the hotel’s printer. Tyler spent time in the evening helping us out with requests. In short, every single person we interacted with took the attitude that it was their job to solve our problem, no matter what it was. And they did it. Every member of the staff went above and beyond in making us feel welcome and taken care of. Can’t recommend the hotel highly enough.

Last minute trip to Reno, decided to stay at the Renaissance hotel. It had been years since I last stayed at a Renaissance hotel property, but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very clean, modern/contemporary decor and quiet. I valeted my car, the staff was great, very professional and helpful. Abby and Raf, ensured our car was brought out quickly, they helpful and willing to help us pack up the car. The day prior Raf brought me my car, thinking ahead he turned on the seat heaters. Great service by the valet team, truly polite and such great attention to detail which matters. Thank you Renaissance team, great stay and we will return.

The entire staff was amazing, we had our shower get clogged and the team was very quick to fix the issue on top of that they rested us with great perks! Valet Rafael was very sweet to get me a cart when they were all taken. This was a great birthday weekend stay regardless of the small set back the entire team went above and beyond to make sure my stay was extremely satisfying! I will come back again!

James at Valet was friendly and professional. James provided excellent customer service with prompt delivery of our vehicle. He even turned on our seat heaters and made sure we had a warm place to wait while he retrieved our car. Would recommend him for a promotion!

The hotel was extremely wonderful and the staff there were amazing from checking in to checking out and the restaurants and bar were very good. We would definitely go back there and we will recommend it to family and friends.

Our rooms were dirty when we walked into them had to go back down to the front desk to get new rooms, had asked for connecting rooms but were instead given rooms very far apart
