The facilities were mediocre. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Close to my classes for weekend. Nice to have pub attached. Has other food,fuel, shopping needs close by. Not the best choice for a family stay. Met my needs for a short 2 night stay. Pricing was budget friendly.

Bed was soft did have hot water for shower,,, no TV, toilet was broke, coffee pot missing parts, room had an odor,-- very dissatisfied

There was no one at the counter, waited for a long while before calling. A woman finally came to the front that looked as though she was on drugs. Online the room was 59 but they charged me 75.00. That alone should have told me to leave. The room smelled awful. Musty, damp, like an old basement. The room was dirty. There was what looked like blood on the walls by the toilet. The bed itself was uncomfortable. The fridge didn't work. Never again.

Had a few hiccups, butall in all we had an excellent stay and i would recommend this for friendly staff.

The property had nice room design and layout. Was not cleaned well, there were nicotine puches on the lamp and bathroom floor. The people were nice though.

Unique oldest hotel in ashland when i was a little girl it was the place to stay. What we didn't like was the fridge was broke in our room and owner has not got a new one or fixed it and ice machine broke also. We will never stay there again.

Everything the reviews said was right...I just didn't read them before making the reservations - lesson learned! As soon as we arrived and washed our hands, the sink wouldn't drain, so the receptionist (dressed in pajama bottoms, sweatshirt and slippers) had to walk to the Dollar store for a drain snake. The room was smelly so we had to ask for air freshener. The A/C didn't work very well which didn't help the air quality. There were people smoking 'lefties' at the back door as we were going out for the evening. Upon returning, we noticed an unmarked switch on the wall that didn't seem to operate anything, so we put it in the 'off' position, only to find out it was for the TV service after we had to go to the reception clerk AGAIN to find out why tv wasn't working. So stupid. Then tried to make coffee the next morning but the pot was missing the tray to put the packet in. Never again.
