This hotel has it all-ideal location, 2 restaurants with good food and service, water sports, desirable pool with hot tub, and remodeled rooms with balconies

We had such an amazing experience at the Marriott for our wedding. Joanne, our wedding coordinator, was incredible. We truly appreciate her and everything she did for us—she made our day feel so special, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to have by my side throughout the entire process. If I had to sum up our wedding in one word, it would be magical, and she played such a big part in that. From the moment I first reached out to tour the resort, she was so responsive and just really great to work with—no matter what I asked, she always had a helpful answer and made everything feel easy. The week of the wedding, she was there while we brought in decorations and getting everything prepared, and told me she would take care of setting up our tables. That alone allowed me to relax and not worry about it. The day before, she walked through everything with us. The day of she was very attentive and communicated throughout the day. She even helped finish our ceremony arch when I ran out of time. It meant so much and took a huge weight off my shoulders. Her assistant was just as amazing—attentive, calm, and literally ran to grab my bouquet when I forgot it. The entire Marriott team was wonderful. The front desk team was so kind and welcoming, making a great first impression for our guests. Nelson at the valet and the other gentleman who helped with our luggage were incredibly helpful, and the attendants and bartenders during the wedding were friendly, attentive, and fun to be around. The venue itself was beautiful, everything flowed seamlessly, and we truly got to relax and enjoy every moment.

I went on spring break with some girlfriends and our kids. We all had an amazing experience. The rooms are spacious and clean and have everything you need. The food is good. We ate at the steakhouse, the bakery and the pool. But most of all, the people were so friendly and helpful. They really made our stay enjoyable, especially Nick Sobieralski!! He is top notch.

The resort grounds immediately around the main building were decent. The lobby was beautiful. Some of the front desk staff were not very approachable, primarily the man who checked us in for our stay, and those who made no effort to refill the special fruit flavored water. Upon arrival to our room, we found most of the furniture and every wall and door chipped scratched dirty, and some even moldy. Had to call three times before someone brought extra pillows/towels and later in the stay, had to call twice before getting another bath robe. The luggage holders were fairly weak. Trash was removed on one of our 4 days. The view from 892 was lovely. But very loud and gave much light pollution on the one side from the pool filter 8 floors below. Despite all of the lights in and near the hot tub and pools, they close at dusk. The “beach access” was not something they ought to boast, was tiny, full of seaweed, and not inviting. According to one of the valet drivers, who was a very grouchy and drove far too fast, their shuttle can’t leave the resort grounds. Same guy told us the golf carts were not functional (all at the same time miraculously??) which was why we asked about the shuttle to the edge of the property, to walk to Bimini Bait Shack for far friendlier staff, fun atmosphere, and better pricing. The location was pretty but NOT ideal for visiting Sanibel. As it’s just on the other side of the toll road, and paying every time you cross wasn’t on our list of things to do. Neither was fetching our own water, food, towels, and beach chairs at the pool since it took 30+ min to get a drink and more to get food. After it took an hour before seeing any pool side wait staff. The info provided at checkin was lack luster (and rude). especially since the rude response included, “This is a four star resort you should have expected this.” Never have I expected to be charged resort fees twice. Never have I expected to be treated like I ruined staff members day by showing up to checkin, use a shuttle service, or ask for a list of services and fees. This wasn’t a place I’d stay again, or recommend to friends/family. Maybe to coworkers I don’t like that much….. or extra grumpy people, they’d fit in.

It is still impressive with views, restaurants, bar, for parties...we had small things that were not staff fault- all staff were super friendly and definitely very quality service. The property has seen better days- our room door (775) stuck so that I had to kick it to get out or in, A/C struggled to get < 80, but it is Florida- we were comfortable, very nice but limited staff doing too much at the breakfast DR- you must have a car if you are there more than a day or two- the property only has 2 miles of accessible walking/driving, other than highway/causeway bridge, which his 8 mile RT and noisy-

Our stay was super. The entire hotel staff were outstanding. WE enjoyed the restaurants and the pool and lobby areas for playing games. Thanks for a great birthday weekend with family.0

Wonderful stay, but with some glitches. This resort hotel is conveniently located next to the (toll) bridge that goes into Sanibel Island. We requested a hypoallergenic room, and the hotel delivered! We had a beautiful view from our balcony deck. Our email notified us that the hotel was ready to check us in the previous evening. So, when we arrived, we were prepared to go to our room. However, the hotel said our room wasn’t ready. We were left a couple of hours without a room. When we tried calling to get updates, their phone wouldn’t answer. This went on for at least 20 minutes of calling the hotel. The common areas have a very strong deodorizer smell from Ecolabs. It’s very off putting especially for a nice resort. It’s a smell associated with cheap motels and public restrooms, honestly. The smell should be toned down, especially since it makes its way to the dining areas. Overall, we had a nice time.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. I read reviews that said not to stay in the Captiva Tower so I changed my reservation and I am glad I did. Location and views are great. The beaches on Sanibel Island were a short drive and we really enjoyed relaxing by the pool. Sunsets were beautiful.

Another wonderful time at Sanibel Harbour Resort. This place has it all. From a wonderful bar overlooking the water to a fabulous steakhouse and so much more . The moment I arrive I feel like I’m in paradise. You will be at peace watching the gorgeous views and sunsets while being served by wonderful friendly people. Especially when someone makes you feel so special and comfortable. I am speaking about our bartender Asta. Not a day went by that she didn’t tend to all our needs while still being so busy. I hope the resort knows how amazing she really is!
