Marriott Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa

We were initially checked into a room which was in a tower that was very empty. A very nice front end clerk, ALEX, took time with us and upgraded us to the the main hotel which was much nicer. Thanks ALEX

This place has amazing water front views and it’s very appealing at first glance. The staff is very nice. The hotel itself is a bit dated and lacks up keeping. The grounds are an absolute mess. Trash everywhere. Pool areas are never cleaned from the day before. Sand in pool. Cups, napkins, straws, plastic wear laying all over the ground. Lounge chairs dirty with food. Cigarette butts laying all around and in the mulch beds. Mulch all over walk ways, dead flys and bird feces on patio walkways. I can go on and on. Very disappointing and disgusting. . I have just become a member on Marriott Bonvoy and this was our first booking with them and now reconsidering my decision to become a member.

Great location between Fort Myers and Sanibel. Wonderful, friendly staff, clean room and great service.

We had our wedding on March 28, 2026 at Marriott Sanibel and I just want to start off by saying it was PERFECT. Joanne was our point of contact at the Marriott and she was helping us for over 6 months to make sure we had the perfect wedding day. From the start she when we visited the venue she was so warm and welcoming. We decided to have our ceremony at the Palms Pool Deck outdoors overlooking the water and the reception indoors in the Island Ballroom. The location was stunning! The atmosphere, rooms, and ambiance was so relaxing and perfect for our wedding weekend. We even got the perfect sunset during our reception!! The rooms were clean, the noise level was a minimum, and honestly the value was insane for what we spent. The chef who did our food for the wedding was TOP NOTCH! All of our guests, who are big foodies, couldn't stop talking about it. The day of Joanne went above and beyond to make sure we can get married outside because there was a chance of rain. It was also super windy that day and Joanne took extra time to make sure our draping was secure for our ceremony. Overall, I can't thank Joanne and the staff at Marriott enough for the amazing weekend we have. Everyday, we had amazing interactions with the staff there and we would do it all over again! Thank you so much and I can't wait to be back! :)

Love this resort. This is the third time we’ve stayed here. Great location-easy access to island. The best part about this place is you really don’t want to leave the resort. The service is impeccable. The bartender at the pool has been at this resort for over 20 years. She is the best! We have had amazing service from her and Edna this week. Ari has served us at Tarpon House and the coffee shop. She could not be any sweeter. Great service and she went above and beyond to take great care of my daughter and I -including taking sunset pics. The manager (his name escapes me-Chicago guy) was fantastic too. I’ve talked to many of the employees here so many have been here over 20 years. Says a lot about this place!

There's a couple of things about this resort that we enjoyed a lot. Its spring break season, but there were no traces of rambunctious, noisy partygoers. This place is very family friendly. Top of our list, however, is young and enthusiastic hosts, motivated and accommodating. We had some special and peculiar requests associated with medical recovery, and the staff bent over backwards. They like people named, so while we may have missed someone we needed to note, we want Alex, Cindy, Lorena at breakfast, and Kenzie to know we appreciate them.

Fun family spring break with teens. We booked this trip because our trip to Jamaica was canceled due to hurricane damage. We just wanted sunshine, nice pools and the option of going to the beach. This checked all the boxes and we were impressed! Everything is well maintained. The staff are terrific!

Great experience from the initial check in process. Family friendly pool environment. Ninka is an amazing Tennis/Pickleball teaching pro with a lot of fun energy.

Best resort I’ve ever stayed at! Staff was so accommodating (Eka, Yagmur & Meri) very hospitable and soo nice to talk with. Would recommend going back and asking for them to serve!
