Gran Plaza Hotel & Convention Center

The entrance check-in point looks like the hotel will be ok, but it’s outdated and in need of repairs. The room is pretty basic, but I didn’t mind, because all I wanted to do is use the hotel to sleep and enjoy the city. At 6am I was shockingly awakened by a horrible motor sound (hotel generator). The walls were even shaking. When I called the front desk they told me shortly it would stop. I left my room 2 hours later (couldn’t handle the noise anymore) and it was still going off. The manager was not even there, the staff on duty did nothing to help, saying this was out of their control. I understand some things can’t be controlled but they did nothing, offered nothing. Do not stay here you will regret it.

Restaurant staff the worst I've ever seen especialy in a "conference" hotel. Totally unprofecional, slow basically lazy.

Worst hotel I've been to. Sheets were stained with blood. They give you less than half a roll of toilet paper. They say the rooms have wifi but there are no wifi networks. Bathrooms were disgusting and the food sucked. The loudest noise ever woke us up at 6 am and it never stopped (the hotel's light generator). Staff were rude and didn't help at all. I've never had a worst experience.

The Hotel needs maintenance in general, the common areas are pretty dirty, and the facilities need to updated

Everything ok, just the WiFi doesn’t has enough range! The rooms are very comfortable, the swimming pool it’s great, the elevator works fine, the restaurant smells good, the parking is not that spacious but it can allow to park your vehicle.

Great colonial city, to much to do, great bars great restaurants, friendly people

The kids enjoyed the pool with slide a lot, rooms were clean and spacious. Only coffee makers were missing in the room

Its a nice hotel with a nice pool, we only enjoyed it for a little bit because it was raining on the morning we left since we did other activities downtown. we didnt try the restaurant, so I cant comment about it Parking, there were quite a few trucks taking the spaces, I guess for construction workers, but they will park your car in another area There was a problem with the door’s lock and it wasnt working, so if you go with a run away toddler make sure that he/she cant open it and run away like mine did. But they took care of it right away Everybody was nice to us

Except wifi everything is good about this hotel.
