We booked First Club stay and it was far from ok, furniture is old and creaky, first room we received in building 18 was filthy, couches were brown from dirt grime, originally Blue, soap tray was falling off the wall, AC did not work, bed sheets were dirty, so we asked to be moved which they did, to building 17, which again the AC did not work, telephone did not work, both AC units in our Jr Suite were leaking and flooding the bathroom floor and of course the blue couch was dirty with brown stains. Overall the restaurants are pointless because it's the same food you'd get at the buffet simply served on a plate for you. Service is slow. Staff don't appear happy to be there, or continue their conversations as you walk up to ask for help with something. First club lounge is decent but small and Sonny doesn't seem to even want to be there from the First Club Lounge, besides that bars are Overcrowded and bartenders will skip you favoring people they think they will get the most tip from. Never again.

Avoid at all costs - This hotel will scam you for every last dollar. It held our daughter's group hostage for an upcharge fee we did not authorize - then threatened to call police. Absolute scam of low price up front then charging for everything including pool towels

Second time visiting this resort, first time staying at the Royal level. What a great time! The Royal restaurant crew were fabulous, making this trip extra special. Hippolito, Wendy, Dileny, Rosa, Fermin, and Candy - a big thank you for making our stay fabulous! It wouldn’t have been the same without your extra touches and service!!

Great experience! The food at the Royal Level restaurant is exceptional. The customer service is extraordinary! Hipolito, Wendy, Fermin, Ederis, Donio and Dileiny are the people in the restaurant along with the great chefs that make your restaurant experience always a pleasure!

I paid for VIP and it was worth all the money. The bartenders for the afternoon shift, Pamela and Samuel were the most welcoming people I have ever met on this earth. If it were my choice I would give them a few more days off every year.

Location is beautiful, staff in royal club from housekeeping on up excellent. We came here during spring break. Horrible arrogant entity college kids came in big groups. Destroyed property both up residence. Drunk constantly. We will never come in March again. Security called twice as boys banging on our sliders trying to break the glass..security never came.despite 2 calls. We are founding members and did not get our welcome fruit platter and bottles as expected. Our housekeepers were magnificent cleaning up mess on our patio an fixed chairs.

Excellent resort! Have been 6 times and love it! Hipolito, Wendy, Sandro, Rosa and all the other staff in the restaurant are great, food and service was the best! Samuel and Pamela at the beach bar, I can't say enough about them. They were entertaining and made whatever you wanted. Glad that we have done the Royal Level the last couple of times we went.

It was absolutely gorgeous vacation! Very friendly and helpful staff, delicious food, spacious, clean and comfortable room. Marvelous beach - clean and wide - looks much better comparing with the hotels nearby. I highly recommend this hotel, but you should consider choosing Royal Level option.
