"Good Resort - Timeshare Push Terrible"

The resort is dated, but very clean and has everything in the units you would ever need. The pools are clean and we never had an issue getting loungers. The MAIN ISSUE... To get your keys at check in you have to go the Timeshare Desk. The push to sit through a presentation was ridiculous. I said no to the representative no less than 8 times and then just started saying: "Please give me my keys" over and over until he gave them to me. This is the main reason for my review. Otherwise, they would have gotten 4 or 5 stars. My recommendation to management is to fix this as this is not the only review that states this and this is the only reason why we will not come back here.

"Nice resort for families"

Our family of 8 Worldmark owners reserved a 1 BR deluxe and a 2BR deluxe- first visit to this area. We wanted couple days to tour, relax before cruise. The resort was very nice… beautiful grounds. Our airs were in different buildings- one much newer other much bigger( the 1 BR WAS HUGE!- older building), we enjoyed the entertainment team- lots of fun activities at or near pools. Loved the lake, pond area for walking and observing wildlife. Enjoyed our three night stay.

"Bad smell, motel-like room, inconsistent services"

Check-in was excessively long and unnecessarily complicated. We initially went to the nearest counter but were directed to another one for check-in. It took a considerable amount of time for the staff to verify and enter our information. Instead of receiving our room keys, we were then told to return to the first counter to pick up our wristbands. Even there, the wristbands were not immediately available. Only after an extended period of casual conversation among staff were we finally given the wristbands. Upon arriving at our building, I noticed that the doormat—and especially the rug inside the elevator—was filthy. There was also a strong, unpleasant odor in the air, likely from a harsh chemical cleaner. The smell extended into our room, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a very cheap motel. It did not fully dissipate until the following day, possibly after an exhaust fan was added to the common area. Interestingly, there was a stark contrast between junior and senior staff. Junior staff members were consistently eager and friendly, while senior staff appeared indifferent. For example, when we asked to borrow table tennis rackets, a junior staff member promptly provided a pair with a smile. However, when we asked if we could exchange one racket because it lacked rubber, a senior staff member responded curtly, “Either you take it, or you don’t play.” This response was quite surprising and disappointing. A similar dynamic occurred during check-in. I asked whether the parking fee could be waived, as my father—who has limited mobility—holds an ADA permit. A junior staff member sought guidance from a senior colleague, who replied with a blunt “no,” without even turning to face us. At checkout, the front desk closed our account without informing me of the final charges. As a result, I was not given an opportunity to review the bill before it was finalized, nor was I able to change the payment card, even though I wished to do so. Someone called me after I filled out their survey. They said they had created a case, but there was no follow-up.

The layout of the room

The front desk staff was not nice at check-in. The navigation direction lead my family and friends to the back gate of the resort, which was super frustrating for everyone. The lighting, at the gate, is very poor and scary. Something need to be done at this gate, ( add another guard station).

"Nice resort, has what I need."

3 pools, Putt Putt golf, I wish they took better care of it. But it's still fun. Drinks are expensive and not very strong. Rooms are nice, kitchens are well equipped. The hall ways are freezing, not sure why. They could save money on electricity if they didn't have them so cold. We needed some clean towels and sheets, they brought them to us in a timely manner. I hate the sales presentation. They always try to keep you longer then they say. A couple of great restaurants you can walk to, along with a grocery store.
