Expedia lies hotel is not what it says online terrible service

Water park was closed all week and pools.they did give us an extra day free.room was pretty good but the outside building disgusting.nonroom service all week.elevator has not been inspected sine 2022.broken fire extinguishers.balcony was gross carpet was yuck.building just needs demolished.would not recommend to anyone.stay somewhere cleaner.it rained and mildew smell reaked from roof

No keys. Resort was not open after being told Gertie booking it would. Waiting hours to be let in the room. No microwave. Asked to switch room they said there’s others rooms not available

The location was nice. The staff was very nice as well. However, the whole reason I picked the resort was for the free water park access. I arrived and all pools, hot tubs and the advertised water park was closed. No water in the pool closed. This was the main photo on the bookimg and nobody bothered to say it was closed. I actually switched a booking for this one. I also could not find the office for almost an hour. There were signs saying where but nothing to tell you, you had arrived. I had to go down a wet, smelly dark stairwell in the unlit parking garage at midnight. Finally the next morning I was changing from a shower, the front door is by the closet and a worker scans his card while knocking, doesnt wait for a response and smashed me in the back while I was undressed and said oh sorry I thought this room was vacant and left. I couldnt go after him for obvious reasons. We left last Monday it is now Friday and I am still mad I wasted money on this place and feel totally swindled. As a property manager, I know damn well he should have waited at least 30 seconds before attempting to enter. Myrtle is fun, the staff was nice but I will never book again.

Pools and water park attached to the resort was listed as if it was open to the guests and when me and my family get there for my birthday weekend (July 25-28) EVERYTHING was broken. No slides, no water park, no pools, no wifi, satellite T.V so you'll get maybe 3 channels on a good day. Theis place should be condemned, it looks abandoned and i feel as if they are taking advantage of people by listing a "Dream" resort online just to find out its a "Nightmare" in reality. I definitely go catfished here. I spoke to several guests there that were staying and it was the same story each and everytime. False advertisement for sure. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I WILL BE SEEKING A REFUND.

DO NoT waste your money I lost have of my mine. Walked in and got checked in went to the room was terrible stains all over the couch and bed. Looked like someone just checked out and hasn’t been cleaned. Let’s not forget about the water park hasn’t worked in four years per the management there. Online never says anything about the water park not working! I get offered another room just NO smelled horrible! Looks nothing like pictures.complaining did absolutely no good. Two people behind me were having the same issue. This place needs major updating and pictures have to be from years ago. You would die looking at pictures online vs what it looks like in person.

This property was the sketchiest place I’ve ever stayed in. There were stains on the blankets and sheets, the bathroom was dirty, the refrigerator was dirty, the curtain was dirty, the balcony was dirty, there was a roach in the bathroom that I had to pretend was a beetle so my kids wouldn’t freak out and there was trash just sitting outside the elevator on the floor on the main level for 2 days. The day I checked out the cleaning ladies weren’t wearing clothes to indicate that they were working there; they could have been anybody and the trash was still sitting on the floor outside the elevator. I had hopes for this place since it sits on the beach, but it was horrible.

I can’t really give the hotel a realistic rating because it was under going renovation. View was amazing! Worker was polite! I was irritated, which impressed me how they didn’t get out off character. Please if u stay at this hotel tip more because the workers do have a lot of rooms to clean.

1. Website says it's Pet Friendly with a pet fee. Upon arrival they told me it's NOT pet friendly & if anyone asks to say I have a service animal. The Pet Policy page on their website is down. Tried calling & e-mailing ahead of time with no response. 2. Lack of employment at the front desk during busy times. One worker is trying to manage the desk and phones, so phones just don't get answered. Lobby was gross, smelled musty, damp. the carpet was covered in stains and littered with garbage like it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. 3. No parking. They direct you down the street to your building & even though there is a parking garage & a few street spots, they were all completely full. Leaving us to park back up at registration & walk down with all our luggage, dog & baby. Super inconvenient. 4. Room was mediocre, sand on the floors and sheets. Bathroom was missing bath towels, when I called down to the desk for some they said they were too busy and I'd be better off coming to get them myself. The registration office is a walk up the street, not just right downstairs. 5. booked a balcony room & the balcony door didn’t open at all. I tried calling the front desk multiple times, but no answer. 6. All of the pools were closed except one.The rest of them were lime green, hadn’t been drained, cleaned or maintained in god knows how long. water park also isn’t open, with no warning ahead of time. Everything was very outdated and poorly maintained.

The stay was okay. I didn’t like how the receptionist didn’t give accurate directions to the hotel or her there wasn’t no house keeping
