Sunscape Dominicus La Romana - All Inclusive

El hotel es bonito , grande con áreas verdes , camas cómodas , el baño limpio . Hay actividades para diversión . Yo participé en una fiesta blanca y otra que fue a la entrada del resort . Pero la música solo es dedicada para la comunidad argentina , que parece es el fuerte de los turistas en el resort , se le pidió varias veces al dj que ponga otro tipo de música para así ser más diverso , pero no tienen variedad . La comida es más o menos , nada que impresione . El staff atento .

Our experience from honest Travellers of a family of Grandparents daughter and baby daughter was very good. The hotel is very well laid out with numerous eating experiences. You have 2 buffets, Chinese, Mexican, Grill, Mediterranean, pizza and Italian. As you'd expect they are trying to cater for all here so the main buffet 'Windows' is hit and miss with meats certainly from their grill meats were fatty and chewy. Kelidascope buffet is a little better the quality generally is higher. The specialist restaurants range from very good to bland. The Mexican, avoid if you expect any spice with your food, although nicely presented very very tasteless. The same with the Italian not much choice and veal was in inedible, saying that the waiter took it away and supplied me with one of the off the General menu meals of pork which waslovelythe Chinese was good but book for the live cooking with chef at your table pizza was good and the grill bar too very good standard. There is an off menu for the restaurant on the jetty which you pay but it's certainly worth it a huge t bone steak for equivalent of £14. The rooms are fine very standard but clean and upkeep is every day. The pool is massive and clean, live saver staff on guard at all times. Lots of activities and the warm carribean beach and sea at the end of the resort. We'd go back!

Wow! Where do I begin. 10 nights in paradise! Everything about sunscape was amazing, the welcome, ambience, entertainment, staff, variety of food, activities, excursions, cleanliness of the rooms and resort. I can not fault it. The beach was freshly racked every morning, many sunbeds available. Choice of peace and tranquil on the beach, or buzzing atmosphere by the pool. The world is your oyster. The only downside for me... there shops on the resort is very pricey, so take extra suncream with you. I brought domincian paso but in all fairness, they tend to use US dollar. You can use both, or use Apple/Google pay and Visa/Mastercard. You can always grab a drink with a selection of night time entertainment. I will be returning! I loved it here. Give sunscape a visit. Recommended.

I had such a good time at this resort it was very clean, the staff members were very kind always said hello, good morning, good night, food was amazing with a lot of varietys to choose from, I also got the upgrade which they gave me a good price on and the night life activitys are endless you won’t find yourself bored at this resort. Also the beach is just amazing.

The hotel is super nice, the beach is beautiful and the staff is very friendly, we had dinner at the Japanese restaurant in the sushi bar and it was very tasty and we also had dinner at the Mexican which was our favorite. Our room was very comfortable and large. Without a doubt, I'm dying to come back

Not a 5* / 4* at a push. Good Pool Vibe. Join in or chill out. The entertainment team are great, and not pushy. Dated Rooms, very Basic; in need of modernisation. Block 14 was very tired. Patio door lock broken for the 2 wks, and was located next to a building site, of a new block or a new hotel. Good choice of restaurants, and the food was generally very good. Bar staff prioritise Spanish guests, at the pool, which was very frustrating; often serving customers around you, as though you are invisible. Other UK guests laughed about it, never been treated like this before. Best Pool Bar Person was Alejandro, who served me regardless of my Nationality. Other’s blatantly ignored you. Dangerous Beach / Sea. 1st photo - tide in. 2nd photo - tide out. Enter at your own risk. Beach shoes are a must, and may have saved me from a hospital visit, but may be not. The rocks are lethally sharp, and would probably have cut through beach shoes anyway. No signs or warnings of the danger. The hotel were negligent at best and the TUI rep, and TUI back in The UK were no better either, simply not interested, in the care and well being of their customers. Warn your guests, and they can take appropriate measures, or decide whether to risk it or not. My injury cost $2000 US, and thoroughly ruined my family’s £10k holiday. Hospitalised, Dr advised skin grafts were a possibility, on the 1st day of the holiday ! So upsetting. We looked forward, for so long, to our holiday, and after the 1st day it was effectively over. Couldn’t walk for the first week. Couldn’t get the wound wet, so no pool, no sea, no beach walks. Couldn’t go on excursions. Couldn’t really leave the hotel. The hotel next door DID have warning signs on the beach. Advising of the danger of sharp rocks. Please, please, please, beware of the danger. No one at TUI or the hotel are going to tell you about, and I found out the hard way.

Beautiful Beaches

Worst foods, worst facility. Staff are always on the phones and would not give you way when they are on the tuk tuk on on the truck. My family almost got run over by them walking around the resort. Receptionists are clueless and rude. Good housekeepers and Coco cafe staff.

El Hotel es 3 estrellas sin ofender. La comida es horrible,mala calidad y los menus bien pobres.Los pasillos sucios y llenos de moscas y abejas muertas,la piscina nunca la vi limpia como debe ser,abejas que te volaban hasta en la cabeza en el bar de la piscina. La gente si muy burba atención, como todo dominicano.No regresaria aqui mas.

Sunscape Dominicus was a complete disappointment and nothing like what is advertised. We booked a 10-day stay but left after just 3 nights because of the unacceptable conditions. The food was of very poor quality, with raw and unhygienic products that even caused food poisoning. The resort was overcrowded, with long lines for everything—restaurants, towels, you name it. Rooms lacked basic amenities; even something as simple as hair conditioner was only available for purchase at $30. Management was unprofessional. We signed a settlement form with Carlo Vanholst agreeing to a refund, but he has since avoided communication with excuses about being too busy or unable to access his email. We have now had to file a credit card chargeback. This is not a place to relax or enjoy your vacation. Save yourself the stress and avoid at all costs.
