Lotus Pang Suan Kaew Hotel

It was good. We knew the hotel was old before we checked in. If you are a very pick Westerner, you should pass. However, if you are willing to overlook some flaws, it's nice. Check in, while not smiling, was efficient. Breakfast was ok, mostly for Thais, but real coffee and eggs made to order. Front wall of room wall to wall floor to ceiling windows - stunning view!!

It's ok. It's older, but we knew that before we checked in. Check in staff are ok. They are busy, business like. They didn't smile, but we didn't have any problems. The bed was comfortable and the entire front of the room is wall to wall, floor to ceiling windows. If you are a very picky Westerner, you might be disappointed. We were going to change hotels for our last night, then we decided to stay another night. The view is stunning!

Have stayed here many times and is consistently good.

Very fine swimming pool. Ladder on the side of the pool is loose and needs to be fixed

Quiet clean, nice room and good view. Hotel connect to Central mall, many street food and nearby land mark.

Very dated hotel. Room was spacious but quite old. The support bar above bath was falling out of wall. Whole hotel need quality assessment. Wifi intermittent and whole hotel without for about 15 hours. However location was excellent.

We loved Lotis Pang Hotel. We had three interconnected rooms~ perfect for our family of 6! Our best rate was by booking it through Expedia. Even the hotel couldn’t match that rate, so we sat in the hotel lobby and booked it. It must have been a very grand hotel in its day~ an amazing lobby, in which you can look up 12 floors all around you. The breakfast was included and amazing~ both western and Thai options. And a lovely pool with thatched roof areas to rest. Please note: it isn’t modern, but the rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. Also, there is a mall attached to the hotel~ the ground floor of this mall is like a food fair, open until 9:30 pm and has excellent, inexpensive food choices, where lunch or dinner is 50-100 B ($2-4 Canadian). Also, it’s walking distance to Maya Mall, which has Chiang Mai’s deluxe cinema. We will definitely stay at Lotus Pang Suan hotel when we return to Chiang Mai.
