Lotus Pang Suan Kaew Hotel

Pros: next to the shopping area and night market, easy access to airport and around Chiang Mai. Hotel looks great from the lobby area, spacious rooms, great breakfast selection. Cons: no safety deposit box inside the room, water that comes out of the faucets in the bathroom are brown, extra payment needed in able to use facilities such as swimming pool.

My first impression aa soon as we arrived was how ancient it looked then the staff was not as welcome as other hotels where we stayed during our trip in Thailand. However in contrast, the breakfast was excellent full of varieties.

All the facilities are very very old...the cleanliness is terrible...found stains everywhere in the bathroom as well as in the bed sheets...

Water leak from air conditioner that’s make a carpet wet and stinky

I was really disappointed with this property. While the location was great, the facility was majorly overdue for a renovation. Everything just seemed old and dingy. I ended up checking out 2 days early and moving hotels because the ceilings were so low that my boyfriend couldn’t even stand up straight in the shower (he’s 6’3”).

Comfy bed, shower room great (no shower gel only negative) night club a tad noisy. Overall a great hotel

Extremely poor WiFi. No hot water from the hot water supply one morning. Poor quality breakfast.

The facilities are well maintained but old and I think that may be the reason we had trouble with the kite switch. Maintenance person had to come and show to to use a make shift approach to making the lite switch work

It says location is good but I disagree because it is not on the main road and its not easy to navigate when you are in between buildings. It may be close to the stores if you can find them. The pool is very large but not luxurious. The bed and pillows were very hard. The vibe felt run down and abandoned. The place is huge but there aren't many guests. I stayed 3 days 3 nights. The shower was super small and the water pressure was too high and it couldn't decided whether it wanted to spray hot or cold water. Also the shampoo smelled like my great uncle. The breakfast started at 6a and I got there at 6:30 and the pancakes and eggs were cold even though they were in a hot pan. I would have had orange juice but it was a bright red color. In my room, there were hardly any outlets and none by the bed. The light were confusing and there was no safe available to keep our stuff in.

I love this hotel and it was very clean!!! Staff was very friendly, breakfast included was delicious and the massages were so cheap!!! Can't wait to return! I highly recommend staying here!!
