Kona Bali Kai features a grocery shopping service through Castle Island where groceries are delivered to guest rooms upon request. Purchases over USD 50 will receive a USD 10 discount. Front desk hours are between 08:00 and 17:00. If checking in after hours, please proceed to the phone located right behind the lobby gate. This will then connect to the property's answering service. They will then provide directions to the guests' room and combination for the lock box. The following morning, the property asks that the guest proceed to the front desk to formally check in.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. Excellent property. The location was perfect if you are looking to explore the island of Hawaii. The pool was beautiful and the access to the beach is easy.

Careful! when you get there you have to pay a "cleaning fee" of around $190 and they don't even clean your condo. If you want it to be clean you have to pay for it, "another extra service". There wasn't AC in the bedroom and the one in the living room wasn't very good. So it was really had inside!

"Eco-Conscious Friendly Value Lodging"

This is a great value property. If your looking for daily housekeeping, daily swapping of towels and such, maybe not for you as you have to pay a fee each time. For us it was a 5 day quick vacation, so we had no issues with that at all. Besides its environmentally friendly :D For the price we paid the lodging was well worth it :D

The property was old and dirty. Found a cockroach on bedroom pillow the first day. Ants were crawling everywhere. We had 3 condos that were not next to eachother but all scattered in different buildings. Two condos did not have a laundry inside. One condo the AC was not working. Bathroom was smelly like bad sewer system. Furniture in all three condos was dirty and old

We were celebrating my mother's 80th birthday, and we couldn't have asked for better accommodation. The condos were excellent, the entire staff was excellent, in a word Amazing!!! Thank you for making my family experience wonderful.

I had to cancel after reading bad reviews and asking questions of the staff with no response and even though they still manage to sell the room they charged me a one night cancellation... BS
