Ermita Cartagena, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Everything was good.

The hotel is quite new and clean, bed is comfortable, breakfast and food options are also great. Service is standard, staff is friendly and helpful.

The hotel could use some upgrades, but it was okay. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. I loved Jose in the restaurant and at the buffet. He was my favorite. Carlos at the front desk too. The food at the Señora Ayda Restaurant was very tasty, and the ambiance was nice. The buffet food for breakfast was decent. The fruit was hit or miss at times. You are able to order breakfast and get items that are not on the buffet (e.g. pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs prepared various ways, etc.). What I didn't care for was that the hotel is not carpeted and it isn't totally enclosed, so the hallways echoed. Kind of reminds you of an all-inclusive resort. You can hear the staff rolling carts down the hallways in the middle of the night. If people are in the hallway talking, you can hear them clearly. There were some people that were drunk, loud and singing at 3AM; I called the front desk and security jumped right on it. The staff is very accommodating and attentive. The room I had, I guess, would be considered a suite. It was spacious and comfortable. The location is close to Wall City where all the great restaurants, bars, and hang-out spots are. It is also walking distance to the Hop-on/Hop-off bus stop.

Absolutely perfect small hotel. Beautifully decorated bedroom, lovely seating areas within the hotel. Food was delicious with large portions in both restaurants. Staff were very helpful throughout our stay. Outside - beach directly across the road with rocky area instead of sand. Very busy with lots of seating and umbrellas. Roads very littered and uneven. Was told by hotel staff to protect our phones etc whilst outside so we just got uber and was very cheap. Street vendors became a constant pain it was best to just grab uber and come back to hotel. Done bus tour , very packed but quite interesting . Booked a sunset cruise with bonavide very cheap. Large catamaran boat with only 70 people on board, very enjoyable experience. Lovely relaxing few days.

Excellent and fantastic location to the historical site in Cartagena. Excellent quality of service Traveling always to the Caribbean is a challenge in terms of pets control. This hotel meets all expectations of controls. All staff always checking of safety and service A big plus the shuttle service that always accommodate (prior booking) to your needs Thanks to all staff members

Great service, location by the beach and also by Old Town. The staff is amazing too! Maria at the front desk spoke amazing English

The hotel staff were very attentive. Hotel clean, food and drinks delicious. The location is close to everything. Hotel offers complimentary shuttle around the city. I would definitely return!

Lovely, quaint old hotel. On the beach and walking distance to the old town. Amazingly friendly staff especially the kitchen folks. Rooms were clean and tidy. Good size. Lovely roof terrace and pool. Reasonably priced. The food was excellent.

Great location outside the main city and close to everything else. Easy unassuming space and a chill vibe. Highly recommend!
