Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls Fallsview

Great location, new clean rooms, but much of the hotel was under renovation. Staff were friendly, helpful and very professional. Large very spacious room. I would highly recommend this hotel.

It will take you forever to wait for the elevator to arrive.

Additional at 6:30 AM. You will hear banging and drilling because there’s construction going on in the hotel. They should have advised on all websites that there’s construction going on.! What did I like?… The beds were comfy… As they are turning into a Hyatt hotel perhaps when they are a Hyatt hotel we will see some better service!!

The breakfast was lacking basic things. Bacon, waffles, and the eggs were extremely watery. We called to ask if our room was ready and we were told over th phone that it was. Upon arrival the Hotel GM (Asian gentleman) told us NO Its not, and we would have to come back at 3 PM. Meanwhile, I just finished advising him that I was told on the phone that it was ready and I wouldn’t have drove here from where we were if that was the case. He told us pretty much too bad that we have to come back. So we went for breakfast and then we called again and we were told that it was ready. I asked if they could confirm several times the room type in my name and the gentleman did. Once I got there, I walked up to the front desk and the guest services attendant at the front door was standing beside the general manager. I stated to him that the room was ready, and then he said, in fact that the room was not ready. And to come back again at three. I stated that this is a joke and I was just advised again so second time that it was. And I told him the gentleman I spoke to you had a Spanish accent, he then looked again and then he said oh I’m sorry “it’s gonna be ready in five minutes.!” Extremely unprofessional and to me it was biased and racism that we were facing at the front door. Because I’ve seen many Caucasian people check in. Additional to that my friends room that she had booked online over a month in advance was not available and they had to downgrade to a king room when she had two children with her…. Once again, the Asian gentleman was inconsiderate, did have no compassion towards the situation and said that there was nothing that they could do. This is twice now and probably six months that we’ve stayed here and that has happened to her twice. That’s completely unacceptable and it’s a bummer to have to sleep on a pullout couch when you’re looking forward to sleeping on a nice bed. The things we do to sacrifice for our kids, though right. The GM needs to be FIRED!

Hotel room was spacious and clean

Fitness centre was closed even though I was told it was open, and so I wasted 20 minutes searching and going up and down the stairs. Renovation occurring everywhere, lobby wasn’t even nice enough to sit in because of the renovation (WHICH WE WERE NOT INFORMED OF). Breakfast was not great, only 2 elevators were working on our floor which was 29/42. So elevator wait times were horrible. Also decent parking fees were almost 75+, which also was not stated.
