Didn't like it at all, when we arrived I was saddened that I had selected such a dull rundown place, it was unwelcoming and tired. The hotel was a miserable place and down at heel so we just left, couldn't leave my keys with the lady so put them in my room and left.

As stated above it was just not what I had expected and my expectations are unachievable that are just demanding better conditions, it is as if the hotel was rundown and new owners are in the long process of doing something with it, but it's not for me I'm afraid

"Absolutely fine for a short break away, unremarkable rather than dreadful."

The chalet where we stayed was very good. Not too hot with fair facilities. The staff were lovely, kind and helpful.

It just all looks tired, the outside needs a good weed and sweep, hedges and grass cutting etc. It’s the little things, a lightbulb not working, shower head didn’t fit into holder, fence post on entry held up with a brick.

The stay was comfortable. They supplied a dan which I was very grateful for in this heatwave!! Highly recommend their curry. Absolutely delicious. The owners and super friendly. Thank you

Location for walking the Wye valley

Not the friendliest, overcharged at dinner which we couldn't contest as owner not there in the morning, police outside at 1am chasing youths trying to access the supposedly locked rear door!

The lovely lady serving breakfast in the morning just made our trip! Lovely no frills place for a proper reset. We will definitely be back!

Ridiculously hot and no fan or air con, but again semi-expected in a place like this.
