Inn On The Wye

People were lovely

Inn on the Wye is in a picturesque location and all staff are friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant which has an Indian and local menu. The food was tasty.

The hotel room although clean was very run down. The tv was not working and when we called maintenance about it the man came and hung the aerial over the curtain rail to improve reception. We also had trouble with the shower and were unable to adjust the temperature of the water without maintenance coming to fix it. All in all Premier Inn a few miles up the road would have been half the price and a better bet for us. Very disappointing!

Location Food good, both Indian meals and roast. Very helpful staff.

Room basic despite ours having a four poster, with mattress which didn’t fit. Poor tv quality Shower cubicle very small but shower ok.

Evening meal was a curry very very good best part of the stay this i would recommend Staff pleasant and attentive Breakfast basic but well-cooked and good meal

The ceiling over the bar was falling down the ground's are in need of being tendered and having the weeds removed Staff where very nice No fan in the shower room very poorly maintained loose step taped down with gaffer tape Damp issue in the shower room Generally all very old in need of refurbishment Rooms in real need of deep clean throughout mattress worn out WI-FI THE WORSTS I HAVE EVER EXPEREANCED

Friendly, welcoming, responsive owners and staff. Great breakfast. We had dinner in the restaurant, which serves both Indian and British fare (we ordered from the Indian food menu), and it was delicious.
