Crown Hotel Stamford

A lovely garden area ideal for these glorious sunny day .We are regular visitors and always greeted with excellent service and a friendly smile from Jess who ensures our visit is pleasurable

I went for lunch with my boyfriend last weekend and had a lovely experience! Food and drinks were perfect, classic pub food! Our server Poppy was super friendly and service was quick, will deffo return :)

I went to the Crown for a celebratory birthday lunch with 10 friends and it was all great, the ambience, the quality of the food, and prices what you would expect in such a good place. All staff were friendly and helpful but in particular the service from Lucy our waitress was beyond excellent.

The outstanding customer service was apparent from the start with a great and informative check/in by Toni (well done). A stunning location right in the centre of Stamford with convenient parking. Truly a lovely hotel so beautifully appointed and the room we had (no3) was stunning. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious as was our lunch in the courtyard area. Overall my wife and I had a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Well Done 'TeamCrown'.

Sunday lunch in The Crown was a wonderful experience,sat in the garden we had a mixture of a roast lamb Sunday lunch and beef and a couple of pork ciabatta , were rather delicious. Eton mess,and lemon cheesecake were well recived, and the cheeseboard got the thumbs up(they were to busy to speak). A huge thank you to Jesse who was very patient because making your mind up is a bit difficult.

Recently had a lovely lunch in the magnificent Crown garden. The food is always great and so is the service but what stood out this time was our waitress, Lucy. We started with coffee as we were early and my friend ordered a coffee with oat milk. When Lucy delivered the drinks she asked if it was a preference or an allergy and had taken the decision to put the flapjack on a separate plate rather than on my friend’s saucer as it contained dairy. In a world where great service is sometimes hard to find, this level of thoughtfulness was really appreciated. Thanks Lucy for taking such great care of us. We will definitely be back.

Stayed for one night. Room was newly decorated and was in first class order. Quality tea/coffee water supplied. Very clean. Great shower. Table served breakfast was great. Very friendly staff. The beer garden was beuatiful with all the flowers and lights. Would definitely stay again.

One of best hotels we’ve stayed in for a while. Beer garden is amazing. Teakfadt sooo good too. Great hotel and a lovely break.
