Stunning hotel with the beautiful cottages on the Thames. Fantastic service from arrival to departure. Decor in the cottages is slightly dated, though it adds to the character and the comfort of the accommodation sees you looking past those minor details.
It's a hotel you stay in because you are eating at the excellent restaurant. We'd been to a party so weren't hungry - so it was a bit wasted on us. Nice cottages to stay in across a busy road, so careful crossing it. Room was good and the service was fine.

A bit tired around the edges but it gives the place character and a pleasant change from the usual sterile business hotels. Beautiful location on the Thames.
Pleasant check in and helpful staff. Room in need of refurb. Lighting so poor could not read in bedroom. Hot water took several minutes to come through. Good breakfast but served in bar very cramped. Very well regarded restaurant, which we did not use, but accommodation does match
One of the world's best locations with sweeping lawns down to the Thames and beautiful flowers on the terrace. It exudes old world charm. A complete breakfast was served on the terrace, as were evening drinks. A nice restaurant with a very attentive staff, reasonable for the table d'hote, more pricey a la carte..
