Sandals Grande St. Lucian - ALL INCLUSIVE Couples Only

My husband and I just returned and are waiting until we can return! Sandals Grande St. Lucian is a beautiful resort, but what really stands out is the staff. Everyone is on their game all the time, we wanted for nothing. We did club level and the desk was able to get us into a reservation we really wanted but couldn’t get on our own, we were so excited! We loved the spa too and had a fantastic massage. My husband and I are so grateful for the incredible service and the beautiful resort, it was really top tier.

Firstly this was our first visit to a Sandals Hotel, what can say is that the quality and cleanliness of the hotel was great, drinks, food, service was all very good, sometimes service is a little slow at the restaurants but it gives you time to enjoy the company and drinks. Staff were great always happy to help, perhaps a few more staff in the restaurants at the busy times would help out. The one big problem we had was that we like to sit on the beach and the usual scramble for sunbeds is nothing new, however the problem is not the guests if the butlers who are told to request them for their clients, so at 6am the majority of sunbeds with shade are reserved, leaving the remaining few for people who get up at 6.30am, so the odds of getting sunbeds with shade at say a reasonable time of 8am is virtually null. So if you want a relaxing holiday and don’t want to get up at 6am make sure you book a room with a butler if not you will struggle for shade. Please Sandals install more Parasols, you have the sunbeds just need more shade.

The Sandals Grande St. Lucian resort was amazing. Great staff and beach. So much fun. Our room was perfect. Bartenders Novon and Otis were very friendly and made us feel welcomed. We loved the food, so many awesome restaurants to eat at. We really enjoyed the nightly entertainment which is a very important part of our visit with Sandals. Don't miss out at visiting touring this beautiful island! This trip was our 4th visit to a Sandals Resort and we are booked for two more!

Although we stayed at Sandals Halcyon Beach, we made a point to dine at Bombay Club at Sandals Grande St. Lucian — and after our first visit, we immediately knew we had to come back a second time. It was that exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the manager set the tone with a warm, attentive welcome that made us feel genuinely valued. His hospitality elevated the entire experience and made each visit feel special. The culinary talent at Bombay Club is undeniable. Chefs Harbeer Singh and Navin Ruwali delivered dishes that were rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and perfectly balanced. Our favorites included the Rogan Josh, which was deeply aromatic and tender; the chicken samosas, crisp and flavorful with the perfect spice; and the kothambari murgh, which was vibrant and unforgettable. The Daal Makhani literally had me licking my fingers. The garlic naan deserves its own mention!!! soft, buttery, and the ideal companion to every dish. The service throughout both visits was superb…attentive without being intrusive, with staff who were knowledgeable and eager to ensure we had the best possible experience. Bombay Club is absolutely worth the trip, even if you’re staying at another Sandals property. Dining here became one of the highlights of our time in Saint Lucia, and we would return again without hesitation.

We had a lovely time at the St Lucian Grande. What stood out the most was the staff's friendliness and helpfulness. They all went out of their way to please us and serve us, even doing things that were not in their "job description." The food was excellent in every restaurant. The facility is clean and well-maintained. The beach was clean, and we didn't have trouble finding a chaise lunge for resting. There were four couples in our group. The guys played golf for 5 days, and the ladies enjoyed themselves at the beach or one of the many pools. We made plans to go back next year.

The island is gorgeous! The resort is beautiful however the staff could be way more friendly, some actually rude. It’s all inclusive and not supposed to tip but saw many workers excepting tips. We were lied to about prices such as renting cabana, about refunding money for catamaran , and when golfing at the resort our husbands were robbed. Upper management was very kind but they did nothing to compensate us or try to make us happier. It’s to bad as we paid a lot of money to come here and it’s gorgeous but we don’t like being lied to, treated rudely by bartenders and staff, and getting robbed. I would not recommend.

Wonderful trip! A few shout outs are in order! Barefoot Chefs did an outstanding job! Vegetables cooked perfect, still some crunch! Fish and seafood bisque fantastic. Cobi our server was very attentive an charming. Early morning coffee with Leona and her warm greetings and lovely smile was a great start of the day (5:00am);) Dive team worked hard to find the best viability in less than optimal conditions. Levi is a master with exceptional attention to detail managing the pool, balancing the PH! A very fine young man ! Even bring towels long before they were out! Until next time!

The island was beautiful- and the weather- amazing. The staff were not pleasant, never smiled, always were made to feel like we were an inconvenience. The bathroom was missing tiles on the wall. Just not the overall experience I had expected from the hype of Sandals. The food was ok - nothing that we left a restaurant saying “omg that was SO good”. I would save myself a few thousand dollars and stay at a resort down the road next time. I completed an online review from them with my concerns and received a message back thanking me for my glowing review. They obviously didn’t bother to read it.

This was our 48th sandals trip but out 1st to St Lucia (normally go to Jamaica). The resort was beautiful. We booked a swim up room which was lovely.The swim up pools were kept immaculate . Temesha and Eddie from pool maintenance were very friendly and helpful. All the staff were always very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was great. We always had fresh towels and wash clothes !!!. Turn down service was provided every night. The restaurants were great. Although we did not need any photos. Jada was a pleasure to talk to.. i utilized the gym and was assisted by Nyah. I attended 3 of her classes which were great. She is an excellent trainer. I went to the spa and had an amazing facial and body scrub with Wanda.

We recently stayed at Sandals Grande St. Lucia and overall, the experience was just average. We’ve been to three other all-inclusive resorts, and unfortunately nothing about this stay really stood out compared to what we’ve experienced elsewhere. The location and scenery are absolutely beautiful. The setting between the mountains and the ocean is stunning, and the beach views are truly what make this resort special. We also booked the ferry transfers to and from the airport, and that ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The ferry crew was exceptional — friendly, professional, and welcoming. It was a great way to start and end our vacation. That said, the rest of the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations — especially at the Club Level. Customer service felt inconsistent and, at times, less attentive than what we’ve experienced at other all-inclusive properties. For a premium price point, we expected a higher level of personalized service. The food was also just okay. Nothing was bad, but nothing was particularly memorable either. For a resort known for luxury, we expected dining options that would really impress, and unfortunately most meals were simply “meh.” We were also disappointed with the snorkeling situation. We were told snorkeling was included, but the only way to actually snorkel was to book an off-property excursion. That felt misleading, as we were expecting accessible snorkeling directly from the resort. Overall, while we enjoyed the natural beauty of St. Lucia and appreciated the ferry experience, we don’t feel the value matches the price. We’ve had comparable (and in some cases better) experiences at other all-inclusive resorts for thousands less. Because of that, we likely won’t be booking another Sandals trip in the future.
