Hotel Campanile Leicester

The staff were welcoming enough. However, the room was far from welcoming!! Quite tired. The bathroom was dirty with pubic hair in and around the bath. We arrived late after traveling, so tired to make a fuss. This was mentioned to the reception the following morning. We were told the cleaners would be informed.... The bed was ok, small for a double, but for one night only, it did not overly matter. We had to request towels as there was only one in the room. Would we stay there again...definitely not.

Great location for the city, first room I was allocated had no towels in and damage to curtains, but staff where apologetic and moved the room. They could have explained on checking in that to get the lights to work that you need to insert room card into the device in the wall

Convienient for music gig at The Musician

Very short staffed. No one on the 24 hr reception when we arrived. No towels on the room. Room was very small, with no air conditioning. I would only chose this hotel again if everywhere else was booked up.

The only good rating comes from the very friendly and amazing staff. Unfortunately the hotel itself is terrible. It was barely 20 degrees outside and the rooms were like a sauna, not even the ventilation in the bathroom worked. We asked to change rooms but the front desk advised all rooms were the same. We stayed 2 nights, window open the whole time, fan in the room but were still sweating and unable to sleep.

Needs work doing to it major style like take the mould of the toilet ceiling repair chip tiles replace the carpet for the high end price for one night I would look for somewhere better.for the location it’s good walking distance to the town

Everything was just great

The double glazed window was open when I arrived and I could not close it. The noise from the lobby kept me awake and woke me early the next day. No USB ports for charging devices. The staff were pleasant though.

It was handy for why I was there But it look like a prison no sockets to charge your phone But saying that it was clean very nice staff just minimum plus you hade to pay for wi-fi
