Nutshell-Airport Retreat by the Sea

Good access to the airport. It is a reasonable stay for transit.

Bathroom wasn't very clean and there were stains on both layers of bedsheets.

Very friendly owner. Great breakfast. Loved the antique collections.

The owner and her family are so lovely and cannot do enough for you. We got welcome drinks on arrival. It’s too minutes from the airport which is why most people stay here. The place is like and antique shop with lots of things to look at. There’s a big shared dining area where you are served a lovely home cooked Indian breakfast. Out flight had been changed so we didn’t need to leave till mid afternoon so they gave us the room until then as their next guest wasn’t coming till later and it was great for us being able to shower before leaving. As previous people have said they drop you off at the airport which is great when it’s hot. Our room had a balcony overlooking the sea front.

I'm not sure if it is because we booked through Booking.com, but we were given a room with a balcony that faces the sea. It was wonderful. The house converted to an inn is full of antiques. Unfortunately we had to leave early and could not eat the included breakfast. However, transport to the airport was provided by the hotel.

Great Welcome. Complementary pickup from airport. Very warm and familiar atmosphere. Everything clean! And just by the sea, falling asleep with the sound of the waves!

The breakfast, which i asked to be prepared in advance, was disgusting. the coffee was with milk and a pound of sugar even though i asked for black, no milk, and there was also pre-sliced white bread, untoasted- really it was not good at all

the owner trauma bombed me when i arrived telling me about her still-birth babies/miscarriages it was very weird and uncomfortable, i just wanted to check in and go on my way and i had to sit there and listen to her personal tragedies

Friendly lady who made tea and breakfast. Rooms were nice. Entire place is clean. Lots of sitting area options. Beachview is nice. Short walk to get food.
