Residence Inn Rochester Mayo Clinic Area

We needed our computer connected to the printer and Boone the IT tech came to our room and within seconds had us connected. He waited until we were able to scan and print with no issues. Great service!

Thank you so much, Cheryl. Every day her breakfast was absolutely wonderful – always fresh, full of flavor, and made with such care. Her special omelet was truly amazing, light and fluffy, with such a unique taste that made each morning feel special. Thank you Cheryl!!!

We particularly enjoy a fresh home made breakfast cooked by Cheryl. We are staying here for 6 weeks and was told there would be a “complimentary continental breakfast”. I heard that and thought, “Oh Boy, not much to eat that’s edible”. What a surprise to find a home style breakfast cooked from scratch by the Chef Cheryl every morning and variations of breakfast daily. I highly recommend the stay at this hotel, clean, friendly and get up and enjoy a great breakfast from Cheryl.

This Residence Inn setting provided everything my husband and I (Jack and Mary) needed for 3.5 weeks. Genoveva our most frequent room cleaner was wonderful. She cleaned our rooms like she was cleaning her own house. Dan, Casey, and Danielle at the desk were helpful many times, with a FAX, copies, and various requests from us. The roof patio on the second floor was such a respite setting after busy days at Mayo Clinic. Breakfasts were very tasty, hot and varied with many options of hot and continental choices accommodating any diet restrictions! And talk about location, with the underground subway level we were never wet on a rainy day. The Food-Co-op 519 1st Ave SW was like a Whole Foods fresh everything, walking distance (with a liquor store behind it). This Residence Inn has it all, we didn't have a car. I highly recommend this hotel.

We will never stay anywhere else in Rochester, ever! The best people work here. Shout out this time to Danny, Kayle, and Andrew. The whole team is A+!

Friendly staff. Filly was amazing and helped us settle in. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. The hotel's location is extremely convenient, especially if you are going for appointments at the Mayo Clinic.

This was our second time staying here. During our first visit, the hotel was undergoing renovations, but this time everything was complete—and it looks great! The refreshed design and the new outdoor patio are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the summer weather. Filly was incredibly helpful with check-in and gave us great tips about the area. She’s very responsible and truly cares about guests’ safety. We really appreciated her kindness and support!

We stay at the Residence Inn/Mayo Clinic area for its convenience but it is much more than that. We have found, each and every time, that desk staff, namely Andrew and Filsan and Cheryl in the kitchen make our stay a 5 star stay every time. It is newly remodeled and they have done a great job on that.

Kayce the manager treated us like family! We loved her, smile, sass (sense of humor), and service! The facilities are nicely renovated and we appreciated the tunnel to the Mayo main buildings.
