The scenery and fresh air

it was not clean enough. the heat is turned on at 5pm and switched off early in the morning.The room is rather small. The bed is very old and not comfortable at all.

Hosts were very kind. My children loved the grounds and the animals. Restful stay. I recommend.

La Caraffara sull’ Etna is a lovely accommodation, very basic but nice. You are surrounded by hazelnut trees and lots of animals like on a real farm 😊. It is peaceful and quiet. A great place to make tours to the Etna and the volcanic landscapes.

The lication is on top of the mountain surrounded by hazelnut trees. It is a rustic and clean accomation which we wanted and enjoyed very much. Took a walk around with the host Stefano, and he showed us a 16th-century bridge used for wine making. We had breakfast as well with homemade jam and, of course, hazelnut butter. We were recommended by Stefano to visit Mount Etna via Citteli Refuge. Wow! Thank you to you all for this beautiful experience. May life be good to you! Rita

Goats, dogs and cats were the cutest. The owners are a bit odd and not seem to know what a good hospitality means.

The claustrophobic dark room, without airconditioning, WiFi, hard small bed, a bathroom without shower cabine/ curtain.

I liked the peaceful atmosphere.

For us the location was too far from everywhere, restaurants, shopping necessities. That doesn't mean that it's not good for others, especially people who like to explore the surroundings
