Kingston Lodge Hotel

What a dump! Although the staff were friendly, there are fighting an uphill battle to make this place anything but somewhere to avoid. One half of the bed had broken springs that caused you to almost fall out of bed, the carpets are filthy and I put my hand right through a towel when drying my hair as the towel was so thin! There are no security cameras and we spent the first two nights being woken until 1AM by the bunch of inconsiderate 14/15 year old kids from an out of town "football team: sunning up and down the corridor, knocking on each others doors and carrying on at the top of their voices. Never, ever would I stay here again. Brook Hotels should be ashamed of themselves.

Nice welcome ,friendly staff,very comfortable our rooms was ok could do with better lighting in the room ,bed comfortable and close to where we needed to be on the day

The building is older but it was well maintained with the exception of the heat. It was a very hot day but due to no air con the building was stiffeling. They did provide fans however these only moves tye warm air around. That aside the staff were very nice and as helpful as the could be. The breakfast had a great choice and was lovely.

Friendly hotel,we had a nice room ,only stayed for 1 night ,welcoming friendly hotel ,nice touch with juice and cookies on checking at the reception very convenient for our family party and near venue,the parking was good ,room was clean stayed on the ground floor doors open to a court yard ,which was nice ,the staff work very hard and were helpful ,we had breakfast which was ok ,this hotel could do with refurbishment ,I would stay there again if I needed too

The hotel is in a good location not too far from town, The staff are all friendly and welcoming and always happy to help . The hotel is very comfortable however some of the decor And fixings looks like they could need some attention. Overall very happy

Very dated hotel, hot breakfast not great, continental was ok but the coffee was brought out and tasted horrendous. Conservatory roof in dining area leaked when it rained. Shower temp awful. Family room, Kids in camp beds that were creaky and in poor condition. Some lamps didn’t work and lighting poor in general to try and get ready in. Got 2 noise complaint phone calls when my children (6&8) hardly made any noise and there was a screaming baby that had us up at 5am next door to us for 2 mornings! Won’t go back.
