Kingston Lodge Hotel

The location was good. The hotel was pretty clean. The room was located downstairs and it was loud. The shower was leaking.one evening g we came back from a long trip to London and by 6pm the room still was not cleaned.

Was here overnight for my cousins wedding, lovely place to stay staff was amazing and very helpful from the time we turned up to the time we left.... definitely recommended

Lovely hotel , nice bar area, and garden to chill in . Although i enjoyed the continental breakfast food, my husband was dissapointed in the english breakfast , only warm and bland tasting ! .

I would have given it 5 stars but my room was on the ground floor with a lot of people and lorries passing by or parked directly outside. The only window was a large side-hinged casement which for security sake I obviously couldn’t leave open either at night or while I was out during the day. There was no air conditioning or other ventilation and as it was very warm during my visit I found it uncomfortably hot at night.

Staff are friendly and helpful but the place is in much need of a refurb.

Hotel needs total refurbishment

This hotel is run on a "shoe string" ie not properly maintained or suitably staffed. We got locked out of our bathroom overnight and the hotel seemed unable to do anything until after breakfast the next morning. Short staffed over breakfast and on the bar but the staff that were there did there best

The bar area was good but every where else especially the restaurant was old fashioned and needed a refurb the carpets were clean but very stained pictures looked as though they were from the 70's furniture needed to replaced as very marked they should use the carpet they have in the walk way areas to the rooms in the restaurant also curtains and carpets stained in the bedroom but the highlight was the food could not fault and the price was good for the night as discounted would only rate as a 3 star hotel aslo great location

This hotel is a little gem. There was a little mix up with our rooms when we arrived and the manager and reception staff were great and sorted it immediately. The bar and restaurant staff are very friendly and the court yard is great for sitting out.
