Vasia Resort & Spa

I recently stayed at this amazing hotel Vasia Resort & Spa and I had absolutely unforgettable experience staying there. When we arrived, the girls administrators, especially one named Angelica, greeted us with warm smiles and a lot of hospitality. We arrived before the official check in time, but we were in invited to use all the hotel facilities while we were waiting a room. By 12 o’clock, we wear ready to use our gorgeous room which truly exceeded all our expectations. Our room was stunning two level apartments with three separate room, two bathrooms and absolutely unforgettable sea-view from our terrace. The resort has several clean and very big pools, there were also some water slides which was a great benefit not only for children but also for grown-ups. What was the most surprising that there were plenty of sun-beds and umbrellas, which usually is a great problem in other resorts. But here you would definitely find a place for yourself. as the hotel is on the first line of sea Coast you could have an option or watch the outstanding view of sunset at the sea and have a stunning walk alongside the coast, or you could swim on a not big but appropriate for swimming part of them coast. But it is full of stones so the hotel gives regular shuttle service to a beautiful sandy beach just a few from the hotel. The water there is crystal clear and the sand is golden and soft. There is a bar and you can enjoy cocktails or have lunch there. Coming back to the hotel, I would like to underline the food there. It is truly fresh and tasty and has a great variety of different dishes. As a fan of seafood, I could find for myself a lot of different fish cooked in a different ways. Those ones who likes meat, you will get steaks steaks or baked chicken. I’m not a great fan of desserts but I really tried some there. And I liked them. Also, truly advised to visit à la carte restaurant. But I want to write thanks to all the staff which was always kind, helpful and very professional. I felt myself like home and found new friends there. I want to thank Liz for great Aqua aerobics every day, I want to thank Anna for yoga and Pilates classes, and of course Esmirand for being great Barman, DJ, smm for those stunning photos and good mood. In summary, I want to underline that this resort is a fantastic choice for having a great exciting and relaxed holiday. And I really want to come back here again.

Spent 10 days from the 15th to the 25th of June here and honestly had a good holiday with my partner and our little boy who is 16 months old, location of hotel is so picturesque, the harbour is only a short walk and a nice walk, I recommend the queens lounge for both food and drink as it’s an amazing viewing spot and the frozen strawberry daiquiri’s and bbq ribs where 10/10. Food at the main restaurant in the hotel was ‘good’ a fair amount of choice, a lot of tasty items, however was very pork heavy on the meat front and NOT 5* in mine, my partner and friends we met at the hotels opinion. Although not bad. The snack bar again was good, the same options of burgers, hotdogs, chips and fish fingers available throughout the day, and then some sandwiches and biscuits available around 3:30pm. We ate at the hotels Italian ala cart one night as you get to try one of the hotels ala carts when staying for 7-10 days. This was very nice, very tasty, presented well accompanied by a lovely roof top view of the hotel and sunset. Waiting staff, reception staff, bar staff and cleaners were all AMAZING, always so friendly and hard working, we often talked about do they ever have a break! Julian being one member of staff who always made the effort with ourselves, and specially our little boy. Julian was always happy to help, chat and made a positive difference to our stay, thank you! Unfortunately the kids club staff not so much. We went to view the crèche and was met with not a very friendly nor welcoming vibe, the place was EMPTY and they seemed to want to keep it that way. We spoke to a gentlemen at a desk and a girl named Stella, who again didn’t act as if she wanted to even be there herself never mind have our child there. After obviously deciding to not use this facility I was glad as although introducing ourselves to Stella, whenever we passed her around the hotel we would smile and she would look the other way. There was another young girl who’s name I did not get, blonde who really upset me when my little boy excitedly shouted hello to her a number of times whilst walking past the kids club and she pretended she could not hear him. Mini disco was something I really looked forward to as our little boy loves to dance, unfortunately this was only on 4 times in the 10 nights we where there and again the girls ‘leading’ this was not very friendly or forward in asking kids to join, the same 2 girls not even smiling or interacting with the children. Was always the same 3 dance ‘the hat game’ and then one more dance to finish. Disappointing as this hotel offers a lot for family’s, yet their family staff department letting them down BIG TIME. Entertainment was again good! But not 5 star, karaoke on the Saturday was the best night for us, the manager of the cotton club works very hard making sure everyone has a good time and got majority of everyone up every night to dance! I would recommend this hotel, and also would consider returning, maybe without children next time.

EasyJet rated this hotel as a 5 star, so I was optimistic. Upon arrival I thought, this is 3 star at best, and as time went on it shouldn’t be rated more. Food terrible, service at meals none existent, limited options for food and drinks eg allergies or sugar free. If you want sugar free you’ll be drinking water all holiday. The rooms, we got given an upgrade from 2 rooms to 2 bed with balcony, which had a nice sea view balcony, but theres no privacy, we as adults don’t really want to be sharing with parents/friends where there are no door locks for example. Ohh and on that note, no bathrooms have door locks, and there aren’t many onsite. For advertising 6 pools, they were rather small. No beach nearby, it’s a must to rent a car really, that’s about the only good thing plenty of hire car companies close by and very reasonable on price

Had a four night break at Vasia Resort & Spa, would recommend. I cannot associate some of the negative reviews with what I experienced. On arrival the receptionist was very helpful. The room was out of this world. Only day room not cleaned was Sunday; I imagine because the normal housekeeper was on a day off but bins were still emptied and towels changed although dirty glasses were missed. Food was excellent everyday with too many choices. All staff were approachable and helpful. Entertainment was a bit hit and miss but we made the most of it. Sun beds around our pool did get filled up but if we went to next door pool we always found a bed. Spa was friendly and amazing. I really don’t think I could complain about anything. Was very relaxing break and would recommend.

We returned on the 23rd of June after the best 10 days here, we are a big family of all different ages and we’ve all found this has been our favourite holiday after visiting many countries and hotels. The hotel is beautiful with plenty of pools, the water aerobics every morning has been so much fun! The water slides for the kids are great and the little kids bit for the younger ones. The food we all thought was exceptional with plenty of choice each day. The staff are so lovely, polite and attentive. We cleaner Adalina came everyday made the room lovely changed our beds everyday and provided fresh towels and water. Plenty of things on at night for everyone, the Greek night especially was so much fun. The rooms were lovely and spacious, we had an ocean view which was so nice to wake up to. Sissi itself is beautiful, we went on the happy train around the island, we visited the tavern paradise cove which is a 5 minute walk, its run by a lovely family, they have swings to sit in which we loved, there’s the small harbour next to it where you can swim in the sea and a shower next to it for after. There’s a supermarket next to the hotel where you can buy most things and run by some lovely women who were so kind to us. We all cannot understand some of the negative reviews on here as we don’t have a single complaint and have all said we would return to Vasia again.

We went for a week as a family of five (boys 9, 3 and baby girl 5months) and had a lovely time. Check in was straightforward though I wish they handed out the map on arrival instead of me going the next morning to ask. We had a quiet 2 bed right next to reception and opposite the pool which was perfect. No noise from entertainment whatsoever. The meal times aren’t as advertised - food was always available earlier at lunchtime than the 1pm slot, from around 1230. Food variety and quality was good across all meals - enough for both (fussy) kids and adults to eat! I have to say the availability of food outside of buffet meal times wasn’t fantastic - just ice cream, cake and some very dry sandwiches due to the heat at around 4pm which disappeared quickly. We ate at La Trattoria one night as our a la carte - not particularly kid friendly menu and very windy up there but was nice to do something a bit different and the food was lovely. In terms of the pools, the kids pools were busy with limited shaded areas - the slides were a hit and the little splash pool was deeper than expected! We much preferred the pool right next to the restaurant - lovely water temp and our 3yo could stand up there. It was also less busy. We had a few issues with the housekeeping but that was more so because they came to clean in the heat of the day when we’d taken the kids back for a sleep so had to keep sending them away. On day 4 I went to reception to ask for them to come first thing and they did - definitely more of a bed making and towel replacement than an actual clean though. Can’t fault the friendliness of any of the staff at the hotel! We really enjoyed our trip and although there was a kids club and entertainment, we didn’t make use of either, preferring to have a wander down to the harbour or back to our room for card games.

Well set up. Staff very helpful. Very nice and spacious rooms with terrace and view of the sea. Well set up for families.

It was perhaps a little busy for us, the food was more about quantity then quality.

If you want 5* or 4* don’t book this hotel it is barely 3* rooms dirty, no towels left, drinks awful, food same most days, hardly any entertainment, the best bar at the beach not included in All Inclusive, broken sunbeds, rude receptionists. Nothing to differentiate between half board and All Inclusive no bands so half board could just get drinks and food same as All Inclusive they are suppose to ask the room number but didn’t. Also paying 15 euros per night for a 5* which certainly is not think twice before booking a lot of people were complaining as it is not as described

Hotel is supposed to be five star no way is it five star more like three star probably was a five star when it opened, but now it's tatty and un maintained . food is good . All inclusive drinks are pretty poor.Bar shuts at eleven unless you want to pay . The only five star thing was the sunshine it was gorgeous full Sun all week

Definitely NOT a 5 star hotel Clean but outdated rooms Ideal for families only. Food was good. Bar/ restaurant Staff pleasant and hard working
