Spruce Lodge Bed & Breakfast & Guest Cottage

We really enjoyed staying at a historic home. In the common area, the owner has kept a lot of original antique pieces and added in pictures of her family from previous generations to the current younger generation with her grandkids. My daughter really enjoyed being able to go out and pet the cats in the common area since she couldn't put her own while we were on vacation. The breakfast was filling and really hit the spot every morning. It was also nice that we had our own separate entrance to our rooms. We didn't hear any noise from any other guests and enjoyed quiet sleeptime and our rooms were clean and homey feeling.

We were happy with everything. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hostess was very friendly.

Gréât little bed and breakfast. Affordable and clean. The owners have cats on site, which I enjoyed, but if you’re allergic it may not be the place for you. The breakfast was ok, but I’d recommend bringing your own nut butter as it’s mainly toast and cereal and won’t hold up if your heading outdoors. The location is great, close to everything and a 20 minute walking distance from most amenities. They heat the place quite well, a little too much for my personal preferences but I’d rather be too hot than cold so that’s not a negative comment.

Absolutely loved this vintage home! Owner informative & pleasant. Such a quiet, comfortable stay! Wish we would have booked another night.

Clean, friendly, comfortable. Terry at night not to friendly about the cats. The road is very close but the cats shouldn't be there when they can easily get out.

Didn’t want to share a bathroom with other people nor there was no tv in the room at the top of the stairs

This is an older family home that was converted into a lodge. It was charming and the service was great. Our room and bed, however, were both very small, and there wasn't a television in our room. We loved the beautiful area, and the hotel is in a convenient location. The breakfast was good (mostly cereal, homemade bread, and fruit), and we enjoyed chatting with the other guests.
