I loved that there were fruits and a biscuit waiting for me when I arrived in my room. All the drinks needed tea, coffee and Hot chocolate. At first, I thought I would be sharing a bathroom, but when I received a call to confirm, the staff kindly offered to upgrade my room to an ensuite for just an additional £10. And all of my request was provided - view etc. The reception staff were friendly, approachable, and genuinely tried their best to help. I would highly recommend this place for anyone doing the Bristol Half Marathon, as it is very close to everything. I also liked that it is near the museums, city centre and the bridge. I only wish I could have stayed longer, but my flight was on Monday. They also gave a gel to all Bristol Half Marathon participants. I especially appreciated that the staff accommodated my request to get a bap takeaway breakfast before 8am, which was very helpful.

The plug socket was placed too close to the table, making it difficult to use, so I had to ask reception for help. Thankfully, they provided an extension socket so I could charge my devices. I also didn’t like that there was only one plug socket in the room. Another downside was that breakfast starts at 8am. For participants in the Bristol Half Marathon, which starts at 9am, this makes it difficult to fully enjoy or even make use of breakfast before the event. Also during breakfast some of the plates were not clean, had to go to the bottom of the pile a few times.

The staff were so friendly, parking was good, easy to find, close to centre.
