San Ignacio Resort Hotel

My family of five stayed here for three nights. We had a great experience and everyone was extremely helpful. My kids loved the pool area!

From the moment we arrived we were so very well taken care of. ALL the staff were helpful, engaging, and went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. Everything we had at the restaurant was delicious. Waite staff was exceptional.

The San Ignacio Hotel and Resort is a wonderful place to stay. What a lovely place with such kind staff. Each person we encountered went out of their way to accommodate and make sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Scott and Elitito were the absolute best servers. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful hotel.

This is a lovely property with great atmosphere, amenities and wonderful staff. We were excited to observe so many types of birds while just sitting on the patio for breakfast! The pool area is perfect for cooling off & relaxing and the rooms are well appointed and clean. This is a great location for "home base" to take day tours out to a variety of sites and activities - definitely recommend!

We would choose them again as their welcome, attention and conform was more than what we expected especially because we are Belizeans and not foreigner tourists. We enjoyed our two nights, here we celebrated our Anniversary and a Birthday, they made both occasion special for us! Thank you everyone and San Ignacio Resort, it is much appreciated!

We had such a wonderful stay at the San Ignacio Resort Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly nice and warm, always smiling, helpful, and making sure we felt comfortable. Their hospitality truly stood out. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with everything we needed to relax after long days of exploring. The property itself is beautiful, well kept, and has a peaceful atmosphere. The location is perfect, close to the heart of San Ignacio but still tucked away enough. It’s easy to explore the town and nearby attractions. Overall, it’s a place that combines comfort, convenience, and genuine Belizean hospitality.

Our family stayed at San Ignacio Hotel Resort this past August and we are still talking about the incredible experience and top notch service. From the reception desk to every person you encounter, the customer service was always welcoming and willing. The staff is very professional at every level. We had the Jungle View Room and the balcony was lovely and very relaxing. It's very easy to forget you are in the middle of town so to speak. The kids enjoyed the pool, although they didn't get enough of it because we were too busy enjoying the excursions. We picked cave tubing and ziplining. Highly recommend the combination and Carlitos was an excellent guide. Took the time to explain and we learned so many new things. We also went to Tikal, although we had a different guide, he was also very knowledgeable. Even knew a "grandma" remedy to help my son deal with all his bug bites (he's a magnet) and it worked! We were sad to leave and wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the other amenities. Next time! I highly recommend SIHR for your stay in Belize.
