Anantara Chiang Mai Resort

I had a wonderful time here. As I am traveling solo, i received the help and assistance from several staffs including Nong Jah, the trainee. She was so kind to help me snap several shots for my memories here. Awesome !

Had my dream wedding at Anantara. The staff led by Chanisa was exemplary and incredibly accommodating. The resort, facilities and rooms are beautiful, clean and elegant. Breakfast at the bodhi terrace was delicious. Location was great as well. Not in the city center but well within walking distance to several night markets. Well deserving of its reputation and 5 stars. Would definitely recommend!!!

We stayed here to attend a wedding. The location itself was beautiful and the weather was amazing. Ms Tuk helped us to coordinate our stay and check in process despite a major hiccup - that the room pipe burst and we were unable to check in to the service apartment that we booked. She helped us to find multiple alternative options and managed to figure out another way that we could still have a stay as close to what we originally expected as possible. Through this whole process, she still kept up a friendly and accommodating attitude, which made it much more pleasant despite the unforeseen circumstances. Thank you once again to Tuk and the resort staff!

Lovely hotel, very nice setting by the river. Great rooms, spacious (even the smaller ones) and well furnished with a special mention for the huge and comfortable bed. The food at breakfast is delicious and varied. Service is excellent. Very interesting building at the centre of the complex, being the ex-British consulate. A big Thank You to Kevin from reception/concierge desk who made our stay particularly enjoyable. He organised 2 days full of adventure for us. Very special person!

We loved staying at the Anantara. The concierge, BJ, planned outstanding adventures for us, we loved each one. The rooms and resort were spotless. The food was delicious, the spa great, and the staff was wonderful, a ten out of ten. And the location was within walking distance to the night markets.

I highly recommend Anantara in Chiang Mai. It is a very special hotel with a wonderful sense of relaxation. While the standard rooms are on the smaller side and lack some of the luxurious feel, I strongly recommend booking the riverfront suites. They are much nicer, more spacious and offer stunning views. I recommend the happy hour at the Bubbles bar, drinks are great and beautiful views to the river. Special thanks for Mr. Kim, whose outstanding service truly enhanced our experience.

We would like to sincerely thank the hotel staff, especially Pai, for the wonderful soap carving activity for our family. Pai was incredibly patient and gentle in teaching, making the experience enjoyable and relaxing for everyone. Staying at Anantara Chiang Mai was truly delightful. The location is excellent, and the atmosphere is beautiful and peaceful. During the session, Pai also kindly shared helpful recommendations on hiking routes, local restaurants, and places to visit around Chiang Mai. This trip has been truly joyful, and meeting such a warm, thoughtful, and friendly person like Pai made our stay even more special and memorable. Highly appreciated and highly recommended.

He helped plan and coordinate our daily itineraries flawlessly, handled every detail with care, and genuinely ensured our honeymoon felt special at every step. His professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail set a new standard for hospitality. We also want to give a big shoutout to our driver, Mr. U, who was consistently kind, friendly, and a pleasure to spend time with. He made all of our daily excursions comfortable, seamless, and enjoyable, always greeting us with a smile and ensuring we were taken care of. The entire Anantara Chiang Mai team embodies true five-star service. Between the beautiful property, exceptional hospitality, and the genuine care shown by the staff, our honeymoon was elevated into a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We cannot wait to return and would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Chiang Mai, especially for a special occasion. Thank you for making our honeymoon so memorable.
